First time coming to this place and it was such a comfy place to eat at. My BF ordered the strawberry with Nutella “Le Reine” and I got the Nutella with whipped cream “Paris” and we both enjoyed our delicious delicacies.

We went into CrepEscape expecting the usual soggy little triangles most places in America will serve you. That is not at all what we got. The raspberry pastry was perfectly crispy on the outside and perfectly filled with cream and raspberries on the inside. The Croque crepes (both Madame and Monsieur) were portioned extremely generously. The Béchamel was one of the best I’ve tasted at a breakfast place. The Tess and Sunshine are also phenomenal. I don’t know how they got such amazing blueberries in December, but they were perfect. We will absolutely be returning.

This bakery is an absolute gem! Stephane, the owner, has truly created something special. The croissants are perfectly buttery and flaky, and the crepes are made to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness. The selection of pastries is impressive, and you can tell everything is crafted with love and authenticity. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or afternoon treat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious French pastries!

The best Pistachio croissant you can ever have can be found from here. Everything I had was amazingly good. Took home some to Florida and still good the next day. Very friendly staffs and authentic French bakery in town.

Another successful outing at CrepEscape & A la Folie. This was our third roadtrip to the bakery-totally worth it! Croissants were delicious as usual; enjoyed the Caprice and La Grasse Matinee sandwiches. Once we got home, the pistachio flan and coffee mousse pastries did not last long-so delicious. We gladly hiked a few extra miles over the weekend to indulge at CrepEscape.

Best food in our area, I know this place is only open 2 days a week but it adds to the anticipation. I can’t wait for Friday and Saturday. Everything is fresh made, the early bird gets the worm. Get there early and get fresh croissants hot from the oven and it’ll change your life. I’ve had a good amount of items from the menu and I can’t figure out a favorite bc it’s all incredible. The owner is authentic and very friendly, it’s a great atmosphere. After you order you get to watch him do his magic and you will definitely not b disappointed.

I am very amazed at the quality of the food here. It is fantastic. The croissants are flaky and delicate. The presentation of the food is fantastic, I look forward to the future of the business as more creations come out. (Have not tried a crepe yet, I know, I know) Later, I would better, reusable plateware and silverware 🙂
Edit: recently the service has really fallen flat… I’ve been very disappointed with how you get treated recently when ordering. The food is not as fresh as it used to be. I did try the crêpes and they were good though!

We stopped in on our way to St. Louis and grabbed a couple crepes. We had the sunshine, which is lemon curd and blueberry, and we had the Croque Madam, which is ham and cheese. Both were excellent and hot when received.

Eating here means enjoying the finer things in life. We were wow-ed. We got the hazelnut financier, pistachio ganache croissant, and two crepes (one sweet, one savory). Creamy, flaky, flavorful. Cozy place. We will return.
