I hate to post something negative about a small business, but this was unacceptable. I ordered a pâté kòdé, and it did not taste fresh. It looks like they had made it several days prior and simply fried it. It was not tasty; it was horrible. I’m posting this because I need them to stop this practice, as it’s not healthy, and it’s dishonest.

Another local gem that doesn’t disappoint. This wasn’t my first time ordering from Creole Plate but it was my first larger order for myself and friends. Amongst 6 of us, we got griot, fried chicken, salmon, black rice , macaroni and cheese, plantain, fritay, pikliz and their fruit champagne soda. Sooooooo good, everyone had to take a break and simply enjoy the food. There was a bit of a wait for the food, so I’d recommend calling in advance. All in all, worth the wait 10/10 !!

Yon sel pate pou $5, mesye a fou. I got the griot and bannan peze fried plantains and fried pork. The food was decent, overpriced for what I’m use to. It’s ok I guess. My parents liked their food, they said it was great. So I gave them four stars.

The lalo (green vegetable) tastes good but full of sands, it looks like the vegetable isn’t washed at all. That’s terrible, nasty! I waisted my money. Sir, you need to do better and be fair, I doubt it that you will give your family this nasty lalo!

Honestly this place is one of the worst haitian spot I have been too. This was the second time my husband bought for them. The first time my husband bought from them they lied about what’s in their food. I get it food is expensive but charged me for what I am paying for. I hate to be deceived. Now this time around the same thing he ordered boulette just to find out it was just potatoes and saltfish fritters
When serving boulette specify what it truly is. We also got legumes they let my husband know that it’s with beef but it’s liver meat. This was not ok. Bad services. The restaurant needs to do better.

This restaurant is amazing. The food is always so fresh and it taste delicious. When I eat from here, it feels like I’m eating at my moms or grandmothers… so much love in one meal! If you want homemade tasting food, come here you will not regret it! I come here at least twice a week! One of the best places to eat in the area in my opinion. The staff and owner are so friendly and always remember me.

I just had the most delicious & juicy meatball I’ve tasted thus far, plus I finally got acquainted w/ a Haitian patty, which was filled fish & veggies. The Haitian malt energy drink also is a lighter & tastier challenger to Latino branded malta.

Honestly if I could give this place a minus star I would. The owner was very rude and unprofessional. Went there while waiting on my order a lady came in ask for a specific person to prepare her dish and the owner answered I fired this man so your dish won’t be cooked.I asked for lalo I got a watery spinach with an awful maggie taste, the fowl chicken was watery as well I thrown the whole food in the garbage I went to Bebe fritay to get myself some decent dish to eat. Don’t waste your money over there worst Haitian food ever.
