Food was hot and fresh. Slightly over salted and the fryer oil was definitely old. The chicken wings were yummy and the chicken and waffles quite good. The dirty rice was a bit mushy and the gumbo a bit watery. Operable bathrooms would’ve been nice especially since the gas station next door was also broken. Was worth a try, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Now this place knows Cajun and creole food. Some of the best collard greens if not the best I’ve ever had. Their badder for their fried fish is the best. The Beignets were outstanding. The service was very good. The restaurant is nothing fancy, just a small storefront but I didn’t go there for that. If you want some genuine New Orleans Creole and seafood this is the place you should go to.

Everything I got from this establishment over exceeded expectations, by ALOT . They went out of their way to asked how I wanted my Cat fish nuggets fried and they delivered!! Red beans and rice was thick (not watery) and had either chicken or turkey shreds in it with perfect flavor. Green beans with smoked turkey was CRAZY good, I love green beans and every where I go they usually need salt and pepper, not At this place !! The Arnold Palmer (tea/lemonade) tastes as if they brewed the tea back there and squeezed the lemons just for me ..tarter sauce appears to be homemade… I will go back here expeditiously

Aside from spending $56 which was pretty pricy to me for what we got, we ordered to-go and was missing our hush puppies, and the food tasted terrible. The fried shrimp was extremely salty to where it wasn’t even edible, the chicken wasn’t seasoned, the red beans and rice and mashed potatoes were not good whatsoever, and the collard greens were terrible. The only thing that was even tolerable was the voodoo punch.

The food was very good and served hot. I had the catfish, fries, hush puppies and greens. They get extremely busy around lunch time so prepare to wait. They left the hush puppies out of my order and I had to wait a very long time to get them.

This place have me messed all the way up, last night I we were passing by and decided to give this place a try and was I disappointed. For $22 plus tax this is what I was given along with some creamy sauce which is absolutely ridiculous. I had ordered the salmon as well but when we got up to the window I decided to change my mind and just got the catfish plate which im glad I did. The price was not the problem, the portion is. Is this supposed to be a kids plate? This is why its hard supporting black owned business, I’m never returning. Mind you, thats one small catfish fillet smh

If you haven’t eaten here before, please do! The food is amazing; it’s hot, fresh, and wonderfully seasoned! I had the Cajun butter salmon, and omg, it was tender, well-cooked, and the flavor was out of this world. The green beans were also excellent; if you don’t like green beans, this will change your mind. I drove almost an Hour to get here and I Definitely would do it again.

Great experience and great food. The catfish pieces are HUGE!!! We could of shared a plate. The shrimp was a decent size as well, hushpuppies were good as well. The red beans and rice is full of turkey meat just like I would cook it! Meat and beans in every bite. Very good, seasoned and came out hot. The kool aid was perfect, highly recommend! Small spot but food and atmosphere were excellent.

I ordered the fish platter that should have came with hush puppies. I asked about the missing hush puppies and was told that they were out and that it was just a garnish. It would have been nice if I was told this when I placed my order. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned.
