Outstanding coffee and clearly high standards. I had a Costa Rican roast that leaned medium-to-dark and brewed it both in a French press and a Moccamaster—excellent in both. Even roast, high-quality beans, rich and balanced without bitterness.

A friend from Greenville introduced me to this shop, and I’m so glad they did. You can tell real care goes into the sourcing and roasting here. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great coffee.

Fair warning: this might raise the bar for your usual cup. ☕️

Used to be my favorite hangout in town, not so much anymore. I miss the counter culture coffee. The counter is always cluttered and messy. The entryway of the shop is also very cluttered and leads to bottle necking at the order counter/trash can area. The quality of the coffee has gone down, but prices have gone way up. A large drip coffee with cream and a shot of flavor syrup is nearly 6 bucks, the price is half that at the Rooster. Also, service can be extremely slow. It’s not a terrible place. But it’s list some charm and value with the transfer of ownership.

Could have had the coffee flights before food and with water, then the food. The sandwiches were pretty good overall. The flights were fun, but so so so sweet. Pretty chill and quiet atmosphere. We’d go again for a regular caffeinated beverage, and maybe lunch. Got the flights, was cool. Wouldn’t get it again most likely.

Posted about this place on Instagram but that’s not public. Anywho! It’s definitely a small town charm in there, I live in a part of FL that’s becoming more populated so visiting family here and popping into this shop is so nice. Prices are reasonable and I like the atmosphere! I feel like she’s still decorating & making it her own, I could be wrong but it’s great!!! I get the iced latté “4.0” so yummy

I just started a new job in the area and gave this coffee shop a try. The shop itself is pretty cute. The service was very friendly.I ordered a chai tea latte with extra chai and I have to say I’m highly disappointed, tastes like light flavored milk no hint of chai at all. I won’t be back and it’s time to find another shop in town

We not only loved the coffee but also loved the tea! Such a great place to hang out with friends. Love all the evening activities and how they are such a part of the community. During Coker Homecoming the place was packed! It’s def a place for all ages and I hope I can make the upcoming trivia night. Hartsville is so fortunate to have such a wonderful small business. It’s obvious the young, new owner cares so much about the people! Enjoy!

Crema Coffee has easily become one of my favorite spots—not just for the coffee, but for the entire experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, welcoming smiles and genuinely friendly service. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. You never feel rushed, and they always seem happy to answer questions or make great recommendations.

Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely top-notch. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether it’s a breakfast sandwich, pastry, or one of their seasonal specials, you can tell they’re putting heart into the menu. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick bite or sit down and really enjoy a meal.

But the true standout for me? The S’mores Coffee. It’s hands down one of the best specialty drinks I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced with a rich, chocolatey flavor, just the right hint of toasted marshmallow, and a graham cracker finish that ties it all together. It’s like dessert in a cup—but not overly sweet. Honestly, I’d come back just for that.

If you’re in the area, Crema Coffee is 100% worth the stop. Incredible service, great food, and coffee that’ll keep you coming back—especially the s’mores. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! The coffee is always smooth and full of flavor, and the atmosphere feels like a cozy little escape from the day. The staff are super friendly and always remember my order, which makes every visit feel personal. Definitely my go-to spot for a caffeine fix and some quiet time.

I go to Crema every week. Crema easily outshines the big chains in more ways than one. The espresso is outstanding, it is bold and smooth, offering a quality that far surpasses what you’d find at a typical chain. The chill/laidback atmosphere makes it perfect for both unwinding and getting some work done. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable, proving you don’t have to overspend for great coffee. The real treat, though, is when Preston Duffee comes to play. He adds an amazing vibe to the place with his performances, making each visit even more special. If you get the chance, definitely check it out!

This was my first time stopping in to Crema and I was excited to try the coffee, as I’ve always heard good things. I ordered the Freshman iced (Sugar Cookie Latte) off of the specialty menu, and though I thought it was a decent coffee, the service was not good at all. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted and stood at the counter for maybe 1-2 mins before one of the ladies behind the counter spoke to me. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on that because it did seem like the older lady was teaching the younger girl something about the espresso machine. When the first lady finally acknowledged me and asked how she could help me, I said “Hi I’ve never been here and I was looking over the menu -“ and before I could ask what she recommended based on what I usually order from other places, she pushed a menu towards me and tapped on it before turning away. I kept talking and she looked annoyed that I was even speaking to her instead of just ordering and walking away. The atmosphere is cute and cozy, and the coffee decent, but with customer service like that it will deter people from coming in.
