This is a lovely restaurant with a great ambiance and great service. I have a gluten allergy and I emailed ahead of time and they assured me they take measures to prevent cross-contamination and my server was knowledgeable about all the gluten-free options. I ended up playing it extra safe and just going with a beet salad with chicken (although they did have gluten-free pizza dough available) which was delicious! Our waitress was extremely detail oriented and attentive to our large party. We had a mix of adults and kids and everybody had something that they liked. I will say that two of the people in our party did not like the Cesar salad, although I didn’t try it.

We are “regulars” at this wonderful spot for special meals and even the not so special ones. They always make each visit very enjoyable with superb service and great choices within a not overwhelming menu list. Everything is nearly perfect, but our recent experience with their scallops was “to die for”!!! My son remarked that their scallops were far superior to those he had recently at Gordon Ramsey’s Hells Kitchen!!! Their panna cotta is unbeatable and they are very gracious in giving wine tastes until the patrons decide on what’s just right for their meal.
Not to be missed!!!

Food was good, portions are decent, service was friendly and attentive. It was 5 of us and two babies with strollers. They were able to accommodate us on a Sunday about 5pm. It was slow when we arrived but much busier when we left, probably best to make reservations for dinner.

Second time dining at Creekwood and it is just such a gem. We got the mussels and could not get enough of their sauce on perfect ACME bread, and the petrale sole dish was faultless and delightful. Their desserts were perfect last time but good luck saving room. Service was excellent and very quick in a packed restaurant. Will be back!

Important news flash: they do BRUNCH in addition to incredible dinners. I could write a whole post on how amazing and lovely this is as a date spot for dinner and how much I freaking love their salads and gluten free pizzas (possibly my favorite one in the bay), but this is about brunch.
We had no idea they did brunch and when we looked at the menu for it online, it didn’t list any mains. But we went anyway and were blown away. I’m adding a pic of the actual brunch menu so you can see the real selection offered.
Y’all, they have a BREAKFAST PIZZA and I promise it’s even better than you would imagine. Do you like breakfast? Do you like pizza? This is a heavenly chimera of two of life’s greatest joys.
Don’t sleep on the brunch! But also the perfect date spot. Get yourself a restaurant that can do both, and support local.
The owner was there during our visit and went out of his way to create an excellent experience. Also, the patio is very dog friendly

Make reservations if possible ahead of time. Fyi
I have never heard of this place until today.
The moment I saw a reservation system, small seating, and a corkage fee. I was like, this sounds very familiar.. I once worked at a restaurant like this in the city.
But let’s talk about the food:
I tried the Gnocchi, the pesto, and pine nuts one , it was good. I am very curious about the pizzas. Definitely will try their pizzas next time. Had a garden salad, and it was very fresh.
I tried their meatballs, and it was very tasty, I must say.
Limited parking, if you are not early. I can’t imagine what it would be like when it is busy. If there is a designated parking area, please let me know.
Restroom: one occupancy, but clean.
Service: Attentative. I barely asked for refills of my water so that is a plus.
Definitely will come back on pay day, though. Prices are $$$

Amaaaaazing! Such a special neighborhood gem. We got and love the PEI mussels. Perfect amount of kick and couldn’t get enough of that white wine butter sauce. The Margherita pizza and roasted beet salad also are must-gets. The salad has this yummy pistachio praline topping. I could eat that alone as a snack.
Service was warm and helpful, especially with the recommendations. I can’t wait to be back and definitely want to try their brunch offerings as well!

This is a phenomenal place! I had the gnocchi and creamy pesto dish along with a delicious Bordeaux wine. I recommend their tiramisu!

Great place with a good atmosphere. Met the proprietor who uses his mom’s carrot cake receipe – delectable. Everything was delicious. Had the burrata to start, pork chop, pappadella, ribeye, and salmon. Carrot cake for dessert

Very busy restaurant in Berkeley, which I was not expecting much from but I am pleasantly surprised with how great the restaurant is. Service is excellent and the staff is friendly. There was a wide variety of options to choose from like a fried chicken sandwich, pizza, mussels, to a beet salad.
I ordered the brussel sprouts, meatballs (not pictured), mussels, and pesto gnocchi. Overall the meal was good but I was not wow’d by the food. I will say the gnocchi was very tasty and the pesto was flavorful so I would rate that a 5/5. Otherwise my rating is as follows:
– food 3/5
– atmosphere 5/5
– service 5/5
– menu options 5/5
