Been here before and had hashbrowns and they weren’t the greatest since it was from canned but I heard that the place is under new owners and came back to try again. I tried their hash browns again and oh my goodness was very good and fresh (not canned) super amazed about the change. My husband tried biscuits and gravy and definitely not your normal biscuits and gravy. I tried a bite and was amazing. My daughter had French toast and was soft and amazing also. Can’t wait to visit here again in the future. If your out and looking for breakfast try here. I heard from the waitress that everything is fresh. So if they run out of something it’s because it’s Amazingly good that they run out.

We were visiting the area and happened to find Creekside Kitchen when searching for places to eat breakfast. It was more around lunch time and could have gone either way, was looking at the Reuben but stuck with breakfast and ordered the biscuits and gravy. It did not disappoint. There was a little spice to it, but if you like a little heat, it will not disappoint! Highly recommend!

It was my first time visiting Creekside Kitchen. The wings were the best I ever had. I can’t eat spicy food, so I ordered them “naked”. It was very juicy and flavorful. The blue cheese dip was phenomenal. I tasted other people’s dishes too. The savory shortstack would be perfect for breakfast. Savory, but the sweet note is still there. The bacon was flavorful. The beef in the bibimbup was very tender and had a good teriyaki flavor. The chicken tenders were crispy outside and tender inside. It would be popular even if this restaurant was in the Southern states.
The server was very nice as well.
It’s only 15mins drive from South Haven downtown. Skip the lines in the city and drive here. It’s really worth it.
–Revisited this restaurant in August 2025.
They are now open for breakfast and lunch.
I got to taste their burger, fried chicken sandwich and biscuits with gravy. They are all so good. Fried chicken sandwich was so crispy and the balance of saltiness and acidity was perfect. The burger was so buttery. The meat had really good flavor.
If I lived close to the restaurant, I’d go back there every weekend.

Found this gem off the 196 highway off exit 30, coming from a wedding in Grand Rapids, MI.
We wanted to experience some local comfort foods & this place checked all the boxes!
My boyfriend got a Reuben Sandwich with crispy tater tots & I got the Fried Chicken Sandwich with flat-top Mac & Cheese; it was some of the food best we’ve ever tasted in our lives!
Both were so tender, juicy, and full of savory flavor- the reuben beef melts in your mouth and the pickled veggies on the chicken sandwich really knocked my taste buds out of this world! The coffee had a earthy nutty taste that we really enjoyed as well!
The locals were quite friendly, approachable, & so charming! They were not afraid to strike up a conversation with us and really made us feel welcomed.
We were pleasantly surprised to find out from Megan, our waitress & owner, they’ve only been open since May of 2024. We wish this business all the prosperity & longevity, as you can really feel the love they put into these dishes.
I would strongly recommend & will travel back just to visit this restaurant again!

Food was delicious. Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. They were extremely tender and basically just melt in your mouth. Sad they dont have fries, but the tots are very good and Crispy. Ranch was on point as well. Burger was OK, probably would have been better as a deluxe instead of with bacon. Will be coming here when I’m hungry instead of driving to South Haven

Absolutely incredible food!! It is such a cool vibe in there, it feels so comfortable and homey. Everything is made COMPLETELY from scratch, you can tell how much of a passion project this is for the chef and all the staff. It’s all made with love and every dish is a work of art. I can’t wait to go back to try more tasty food. The shortstacks and hot wings are mind blowing. All the pics have bites taken out of them because I couldn’t wait

My wife and I stayed at a nearby AirBnB on Lake Michigan and stumbled across Creekside Kitchen, which we really enjoyed. The food has an Asian influence and the dishes are simple but also creative. We started when the savory shortstack and the flavor combination of hot honey, bacon and herb butter was unique and delicious. My wife had the Bim Bim Bop and I had the Japanese egg salad sandwich; both of which were tasty. This is a new restaurant and we’re pulling for the friendly owners to see continued success. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit the area.

This is one little hidden gem that you have to visit. My wife and I stopped by for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. She got the basic two eggs, hashbrowns and toast, you could tell right away that everything was cooked perfectly. I got the corn beef hash and let me the you, it was the best I’ve ever had. Good size chunks of fresh corn beef and potatoes. It was amazing. So good that I got Rueben to go, also didn’t disappoint. Check this place out.

First meal at this new restaurant. Such a great experience. The menu has some unusual and creative choices. The savory short stack was phenomenal. Lightly spicy honey with crumbled bacon. I also had the BLT which was very good. I definitely want to go back and try some of the other options.
