When they say “World Famous” chili dogs, they mean world famous chili dogs… No if, and, or, buts, about it.
I grew up in Eldon in the 80’s & the hardest part about moving away was having to leave these “World Famous” chili dogs today is Jan 5 2026, I’m home to visit mom, and you better believe that a couple stops at the Cree-Mee we’re on my itinerary.

The only thing I get from there is jumbo chocolate marshmallow shakes made with chocolate ice cream. MY wife gets strawberry shakes. I’ve heard the food is good, but I’ve never had it. The parking lot is terrible, potholes bigger than the grand canyon.

Great little ice cream / burger stand. Order from the windowvstand outside, then get your food through the window. Old time type place. Nice clean bench and tables outside. Oarking and access to the road are good and easy. We had a hot fudge Sunday and chocolate shakes, and they were good. We would stop here again and probably get a burger and fries.

Yummmmm! Chili cheese dog, marshmallow Pepsi, and frito pie. The pie wasn’t what I was expecting. The Pepsi was better than expected and wishing we would have gotten a large. And the chili dog so good, we had to split another one!

This is a solid burger and ice cream spot in Eldon, Mo. Prices are reasonable, food was very fresh and serving sizes were generous. A dad and son in front of us order small swirl cones and I swear they were 8 inches tall! This place has stayed in business for a good reason!

Everytime I come to Eldon I have to stop by and get a marshmallow Pepsi, I think the cree mee’s is slightly better than Eldon drive in so I choose here and the price is affordable as well

Been going here for years. Their soft serve ice cream is what I go for. Very creamy and delicious, and large portions. Fries are pretty good too. The building is pretty run down. Doesn’t look the cleanest inside either. Parking is limited, but don’t go to the drive through because it takes a really long time. Once I ordered a chili dog without the bun, and they literally wrapped the hotdog and chili in a thin piece of wax paper. Gave no fork with it either. How you supposed to eat that?

This was one of my childhood loves as a kid – coming here after playing baseball and getting a rootbeer float with a hotdog. And as I write this review, thinking about it, I can’t think of almost anywhere else you can just get a simple hot dog for as cheap as you can get one here without making it yourself.
The place is swarmed with flies constantly though, and they’ve never been exactly known for being a super clean place – but if those things don’t bother you, then this is a great place to pick up a cheap bit of food and a nice ice cream float.
