ONE WORD: Excellent! The service is friendly and welcoming, food tastes absolutely soulful and great, and our first visit was a family-oriented vibe—they make you feel like they’ve known you forever! Already spread the word to others looking for good home-cooking away from home or on-the-go goodness HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fried pork chop was seasoned to perfection but needed to be drained of grease. I’m thinking it was because they were trying to get the customers in and out on a Sunday.

Blackeyes had no taste.

Dressing had a strong taste to it that I’m ensure exactly what it was but I wasn’t a fan.

I would definitely go back for a pork chop sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo.

(These are ALL my PERSONAL opinions)

Also, I wasn’t a fan of the cake. It didn’t taste fresh at all.

My husband and I stopped by this soul food restaurant today, and overall, we really enjoyed everything! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and fast with taking and preparing our order. The service was excellent ..they made sure everything came out hot, fresh, and just the way we asked. I ordered yams, dressing, cornbread, and baked chicken with rice. My husband had baked chicken, rice, collard greens, dressing, and cornbread. Everything looked and tasted homemade, like something you’d get at a Sunday family dinner. The dressing was hands down my favorite ..a solid 10/10! Perfect texture, seasoned just right, and full of that comforting, homemade flavor. The yams were sweet and buttery, and the cornbread tied everything together beautifully.
The collard greens were good; I’d give them about a 7.5/10. They had a great texture but could’ve used just a little more seasoning. The baked chicken was tender but a little on the bland side; nothing a sprinkle of seasoning salt and a little hot sauce from my own kitchen couldn’t fix! Once I added that, it was absolutely delicious. I also really appreciated that they cook some of their veggies with turkey instead of pork. That’s a big plus in my book! It shows they care about customers who prefer a lighter or pork-free option. Overall, it was a really good experience ..warm atmosphere, friendly people, and food made with love. We’ll definitely be back again and will be recommending this spot to family and friends!

First visit today wonderful customer service. Friendly and courteous staff from the entry to the departure. One million stars if I could give more than 5.

Food
Amazing ! There are a few other places in town that my husband and I frequent for a Sunday dinner when we just do not want to cook. This place tops them all

Oxtails succulent no hot sauce needed and my husband usually drowns his meat from
Other places in hot sauce squash seasoned to perfection . Turkey wing perfectly seasoned no hot sauce needed. Greens taste like grandma made them not bitter not salty just perfect. Mac and cheese so flavorful. Field peas tastefully seasoned. Generous portions left there full sleepy and happy.

If you have not been just go. Support this wonderful small business. We drove in from Perry and so glad we did. This will now be our only home cooking stop from now on.

What I loved best there was no wait all the food was there in front of you tell them what you want and within 5 minutes we were eating. Hot fresh and delicious.

Everyone was just so humble and made you feel like you been coming there for years. Very comfortable dine in seating.

They also sell breakfast will try to get there another weekend day for that

We paid about $40 for two plates of course if you buy oxtails you pay a premium so they were around $24 and the turkey came with rice with 2 sides and bread $14 . Oxtail also came with rice and two sides and bread.

Just go good eats in War town. Can’t beat a home cooked meal. Let’s keep this place in business folks.First visit today wonderful customer service. Friendly and courteous staff from the entry to the departure. One million stars if I could give more than 5.

This food is so good! It is truly home cooking!! The baked spaghetti is just like mine! And the goulash…..it is exactly like we grew up on! And for all of you who complain about rude, lazy, inattentive workers, this place is for you! It’s family owned and operated and they are all SO sweet and helpful! Love it and give it 10 stars!

my first time here. the food was great i ordered the bake porkchop meal. but they didn’t give me a good portion for my price my food was warm when i got it. they need to kick up the heat on their server plates. This is a black own restaurant and we expect some weight on these plates lol. overall the place is clean the employees were respectful and nice. i do reccomend this to friends and family. glade to have this place in Warner Robins in a Convenient location.

Staff was friendly but I didn’t enjoy the food.
The chicken was seasoned but it was cold, yams were sweet but still kinda bitter, greens were bitter, macaroni was ok! I didn’t eat all of it. Kinda wasted my $20, I would go back for the chicken only if it’s hot and a cup of lemonade. I also think the presentation of the food didn’t look really inviting like I wanted the cake because I saw it on the menu but once I saw the slices in the restaurant I decided not to order based on presentation.

This is a very good place to get your grub on! But seriously the food here is great and the prices are very reasonable. It is as always left up to the discretion of your taste buds, but bring them over there and expose em to a not so ordinary version of creative soul cooking

My first visit. The older lady was extremely welcoming. The sides were a little salty and my turkey wing lacked seasoning. I will give it another shot. Maybe I’ll come early next time. I just really want to like this place due to her warm and great service.
