The restaurant is the combined vision of Jim, Tesa and Bill Machelor. The parent company, Creative Labor Services, has provided work and learning opportunities for mentally and physically challenged adults since 1987. Looking to provide something fresh and unusual in casual dining, the family opened the restaurant in Casa Grande in July of 2000. We are now going strong with years of preparing healthy food, along with excellent service. Thank you for your patronage!

A popular spot for fresh food for lunch and dinner. We loved the variety of choices. A tasty, balanced gyro served with a side of soup or salad. We found the portions generous. Plan ahead as this place is a hidden gem and packs out. However, service is fast, friendly and timely, so you will get seated in this surprisingly large restaurant. Absolutely, love the mission statement of this establishment.

Our first time at the Cafe was even much better than we had heard. It was a bustling place full of happy people. The menu has a wide variety of options, is well priced, portions are large and flavourful. All our meals were delicious and service was fantastic. Even though it was very busy on a Friday night, we were seated, with our order taken and food out within 20 minutes. Servers were back several times to check on us and refill beverages. We could not have had a better experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was delicious, I ordered half sandwich (egg salad) and half salad (Caesar). It was all fresh and very tasty and the service was kind and speedy! The restaurant was busy, but the wait to be seated was short. Seating was comfortable and the booths provide some separation from the other diners. Parking can be a bit tricky, I arrived at 12:40 pm on a Wednesday and the parking lot was nearly full. It was a great dining experience and I definitely plan to return, so glad to have this gem in our town!

Very tight parking area, but plenty of indoor seating. The menu was full of a variety of items. We had a group of 17 so I was expecting to face a long wait for food. I was extremely pleased with our service and getting our orders quickly. The Cruncy Munchy Wrap was outstanding….best wrap I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable!

Went here with my mother a week ago and was seated right away. Server was attentive and helpful. Food was top notch. They have a broad menu to satisfy any appetite. Including healthy options. We got the margherita flat bread and I believe it was an apple and raspberry pecan salad. Both were delicious. Will definitely eat here again and recommend to friends.

What an absolutely delightful dining experience we had on Saint Patrick’s Day at Creative Cafe… Was looking for a place to meet halfway from Tucson and Scottsdale and fortunately the cafe was open on Monday, Many other places were not. It was so great to experience the excellent hospitality and service especially of a business that is so community centric. Special thanks to our servers Jessie and Debbie and thank you to Terry the owner for offering us a Saint Patrick’s Day treat.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and house made my tuna melt was the best I’d ever had- and all their sides and you have many to choose from our housemade. I had the macaroni salad.. Even though it was busy the owner knew my friend and I had not seen one another in 15 years and we were not rushed. They had a corned beef and cabbage special of the day and I should have ordered 1 to take home. Absolutely worth the stop off I 10 coming or going… Thank you very very much to all for this family owned eatery. J in Tucson

I am a celiac and staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The gluten free pizza and chocolate torte were great. The salads are also very tasty. Our server was very kind and all the staff are welcoming and considerate.
