I like to start by saying the appetizers were great. We got the fried potatoes and pickles were cooked and we’ll seasoned.
Sadly though everything else wasnt as pleasant.
The floors were sticky along with menus and the table wasn’t wiped down. We cleaned our area the best we could and still stayed to give it a shot.
You could tell they are under staffed because for a breakfast plate, burger and Chicken fried steak it took over a hour.
The chicken fried steak wasn’t fully cooked in the middle, leaving my guest sick to their stomach couldnt finish the plate.
Hardly saw our waitress and waited so long we all decided to leave instead of trying to get the meal remade. The vibe was so off putting I just paid the check and left.
Was really hoping to have some pie that they are famous for but couldn’t have with a non existent waitress. I would give them another chance but only after management gets the staff together, and will clean the heck outta the place.
Prices were outrageous for the quality and service 135$ (with tip) would have been better to go to Texas Roadhouse for this much.

If you haven’t tried Cream Pie & Fries yet, you are seriously missing out.
We went on Valentine’s Day and this place understood the assignment. The whole vibe is giving 1950s soda fountain — retro, fun, cozy, and honestly perfect for date night or just pulling up because you want good food without the nonsense.
We ordered the appetizer sampler and they CAME THROUGH: potato bombs, chicken mac & cheese, fried pickles, nachos, plus a side of beer-battered fries. Everything was hot, crispy, and seasoned like somebody in that kitchen actually cares about what leaves the window.
Now let’s talk desserts because that’s the headline act.
The coconut cream pie? Absolute dream. Smooth, creamy, not overly sweet — just dangerous enough that you don’t want to share. JT had the Reese’s cream pie and let’s just say… that plate was spotless.
The staff? Top-tier. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without being fake. They let you eat in peace but were right there when you needed something.
And the prices? Shockingly good for the portions you’re getting.
Copperas Cove — stop sleeping on this spot. Date night, family night, random Tuesday “I deserve this” night — just go.
You will not leave hungry. And you will leave planning your next trip.

Amazing food!!! 1st time customers, we got delivery through door dash – we will definitely eat here again! I got the Lone Star Chicken Sandwich, hubby got the Voodoo Burger – both were very good and came with a huge portion of fries. We also got appetizers and dessert! Everything was delicious and for what we got well priced! Will recommend to others and will be back! Just bummed at ourselves for not eating here sooner!!!

I’ve tried loving this place 3 times. The staff is always very friendly and we get seated rather quickly, but the food takes a very long time to come out. The first time, we left after 45 minutes of waiting. The second, we left after an hour of waiting. We were told everyone seemed to have called off that day. Both times, we payed for drinks and chalked it up to our large party of 7 being an issue. Today, my husband and I went alone and were told the system didn’t put in our entire order (even though it all took a long time to come out- about 45 mins and then an additional 5 for the French toast) My biscuits and gravy were delicious, but cold. His stuffed french toast were warm, but the fruit on top was frozen. The complimentary biscuits came after the food was served which was odd, but they were DELICIOUS! On a more positive note, the prices and portions are more than fair in my opinion. Unfortunately, I can’t confidently say that I’d go again. Maybe just to try the pies next time.

When we first walked in, the floors were sticky. After we sat down, the table was dirty. The sweet tea tasted a little off. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles, but only received five. The fried pickles themselves were good.
For the main course, we ordered the chicken Alfredo. The sauce was red, more like a vodka or marinara sauce than Alfredo. The chicken was good and not dry, but the pasta was cold.
For dessert, we ordered cherry pie. It wasn’t warmed up, and we weren’t asked if we wanted it warmed. It also had a waxy taste.
Other than that, the service was good the waiter was very energetic and friendly.

The burger was nothing special, but it was still good. Tasted like maybe they used a frozen pattie but I could be wrong. The fried pickles were delicious though. Service was good, but she was the only waitress there when we were in so she was running multiple tables.

First time trying this establishment. I was blown away by the portions, price, and my taste buds and tummy were definitely not expecting that. Everything was fresh and flavored to perfection. Real mashed potatoes in the chicken bowl. The Voodoo fries were excellent as well. Homemade and unique dishes for sure!! Will definitely be back.

The waitress was extremely attentive! She made my daughter feel really special! They gave her a coloring book and crayons and she even talked with her (2 year old loves conversations lol). She even brought her out a pie with candle!! Very sweet!
The food was made really fast and it was fresh! Most diners you can taste old grease. Not here! Definitely clean grease! The plates were loaded! All of the staff we conversed with were friendly and kind! No foul language coming the kitchen. No wierd smells. Just really good food! There is also an arcade! This being my first time there I was extremely impressed with the food, service, and over all environment.

Don’t eat here. The service is horrible. Slow to get food. Waited too long for food. We were the only people in the diner. The order was wrong. The burger was red. Then waited too long for desert. There was no manager on duty. Billy, would not be there till Nine am. The initial waitress, Salina, left and another waitress took over. We had to remind the second one that we were waiting for deserts. When the bill was brought, the price was wrong. We were charged 80.00 for our three deserts. When the waitress tried to fix the bill she credited the 80 $ stating the deserts were one the house but in looking at the bill, the meals and drinks were not charged correctly , being an additional 12.00 over charged. We are from out of town and now have to go back to the diner in the am. This diner has no consideration for the patrons, their time. They are in to big of a hurry to leave. The replacement waitress blamed her medical condition for not being able to perform her duties effectively. I rate it at one star and would not recommend going.
