Pulled up with my baby girl and we shared the Crunchy Scallop Roll and the Spicy Tempura Crawfish Roll, and let me tell you—no crumbs left. The Crunchy Scallop Roll was crispy, buttery, and perfectly balanced, while the Spicy Tempura Crawfish Roll had that bold kick with a crispy bite that just does it every time.
Fresh ingredients, big flavor, and rolls that look good and taste even better. The kind of place where every bite reminds you why you chose sushi in the first place.
If you’re in Covina and not stopping here, you’re missing out. Crazy Rockin Sushi understood the assignment. We were first timers might I add! We’ll be back—period!
The food was the real highlight. Every roll was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. You could immediately taste the quality of the fish—clean, delicate flavors that practically melted in your mouth. The sashimi was especially impressive, with thick, perfectly sliced pieces that showcased just how fresh the ingredients were.
The service was equally outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. They were happy to answer questions about the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that everything arrived promptly. It’s clear they take pride not only in the food but also in good service.
Overall, this sushi restaurant delivers on all fronts: exceptionally fresh food, excellent service, a lovely ambiance, and great music. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.
My cousin and I have been craving sushi and thought we would try a new place which brings us here.
They had happy hour which is BOGO 50% off specialty rolls. We got 4 rolls and 2 Thai milk teas with boba. Total came out to $70 and some change.
Service was great. We were there pretty much when they opened, so there were plenty of open tables. I did feel like there were two people, maybe the owners that seemed to micro manage their employees. The servers I felt like were doing fine and were attentive.
At the start we got miso soup. It was super delicious! Great flavor. These rolls we got were huge! Delicious none the less, but difficult to grasp with the chopsticks. They were so heavy they would sometime fall apart! But OMG! Soooooo good! 4 rolls were definitely enough for the 2 of us with a few pieces left over.
At the end we got a card. Once you accumulate $10 you can use it on your next meal.
Will definitely be back!
Service is friendly and consistent, and the staff makes you feel welcome every time you walk in. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners with friends or family.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions you get, and everything comes out quickly even when it’s busy. Definitely one of the best sushi options around Covina. I’ll keep coming back and recommending this place to friends
The prices were kinda high too; especially for the amount of sushi they put in their rolls (yellow fin roll) to be specific. The salmon they serve, appears to be farm raised. Also, if you want their lunch special prices, you’ll need to place your order in their computer system before 4pm. It doesn’t matter if you arrived before 4pm, as informed by our waitress. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for quality/average quality sushi. But it’s was a nice establishment.
