Honestly I can’t understand how this place has a 4.7/5 rating. Ordered a large plain pie and it was a floppy mess. The underside was very well done, yet it wasn’t crispy and the dough was undercooked. The crust was too thick and doughy. Maybe most of the reviews are from drunk people at 2 AM, or people from PA and other states where most of their pizza sucks.

I am from Central NJ and this does not hold a candle to most of the pizzerias within a 15 minute radius from where I live. Definitely not the best on the boardwalk either. (I tried Sam’s Pizza Palace last time I was here and I would argue it is by far the best I’ve tried in WW. I wish my hotel was closer).

What a disappointment. Was expecting much better based on the reviews. The only saving grace was they made the pie quickly and it is a very large pie for a reasonable price. The staff was somewhat friendly, You get what you pay for I guess. That said, a LOT of the food on the boardwalk is crap.

Best pizza on the boardwalk and possibly the area! Really friendly people too! Obviously this whole area does not compare to ny/northern jersey but has some decent 6s and 7s. Location is at the very end of the boardwalk unfortunately.

7.9/10

The experience we had was truly remarkable. The quality of the food and the exceptional service provided by the establishment were highly impressive. We indulged in the Shawerma Beef Fattah and the Hawawshy, which i combined beef, sojok, and basterma. Each dish was an absolute delight, tantalizing our taste buds with its exquisite flavors.

We were particularly touched by the thoughtful gesture of the staff, who kindly kept our leftovers for us while we engaged in a game of mini-putt. It is regrettable that we discovered this exceptional establishment only a day before our departure. However, we are certain that this will be our preferred dining destination during our next visit.

We express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional experience and commend the establishment for maintaining such high standards. We eagerly anticipate our return next summer.

I enjoyed my late lunch at Crazy Junky while attending a conference at the convention center. The falafel platter with six large pieces of falafel and fresh baked bread was simply delicious . And on top of that, the service was excellent. I always appreciate a welcoming and friendly environment, especially when I travel. The staff were all kind and the seating environment was clean.

This family-run place is close to the convention center so it’s a slight walk from the amusement parks, but my lunch was worth the walk. I got the cheesesteak and fries and my girlfriend got a calzone. The cheesesteak was satisfying. Stuffed with meat and had a good amount of cheese, too. I was, however, really impressed with how they made the calzone. I saw them making it with fresh dough and fresh mozzarella. When it came out, the cheese was really gooey. The calzone was perfectly cooked with a crisp outer crust and good fillings. It also wasn’t overly greesy. It came with the chef’s own homemade marinara sauce which tasted like it was made with all fresh ingredients. He checked in on us a couple of times to make sure we were satisfied and when we got our leftover calzone boxed up, he happily gave us an extra container of his homemade sauce. I wish I’d taken a picture of the calzone. The fries were also outstanding. They had a perfect crispness without being overcooked. That’s exactly how I like my fries but few restaurants ever get perfectly right.

In terms of pricing, they are also VERY affordable. I’ve heard of other restaurants around the boardwalk price gouging, adding ridiculous hidden charges, and/or charging exorbitant prices for their food. I paid around $16 for my cheesesteak and fries. The cheesesteak was a good size and they didn’t skimp on the meat.

I know it can be a walk from the boardwalk center, but if you’re staying around the convention center area or near the Raging Waters waterpark, I would highly recommend grabbing a bite from Crazy Junky. This place is legit and I couldn’t sing its praises more.

Update: Went back that same day to get an Arab dessert which was on their menu. I know nothing about it so I asked for a recommendation and they made me a fateer. Again, know absolutely nothing about it, so the chef actually spent some time to instruct me on how to eat it. I really loved it and will definitely get it the next time I’m in Wildwood.

It’s a good place to stop on the boardwalk. Their wings a fried crispy, I got the sauce on the side. They have shwarma options too. They have tables in the back.

Listen, this is my first time in Wildwood NJ, I am in town for the TIA tournament at the convention center. Once on the boardwalk we were craving pizza and came across Crazy Junky pizza. Straight from the beginning the customer service was awesome.. You can tell these guys take pride in what they do! When it came time for the pizza to come out it looked absolutely amazing pictures included… The cheese is absolutely amazing and even down to the crust… Hands down one of the best pizzas I have legit ever had… It ties with a slice of pizza I had in manhattan! The guys hooked us up with some plates and even some blue cheese! I think I found my pizza spot from here on out…. This place is awesome!!

Crazy Junky had the best pizza we have had in YEARS! The crust is absolutely perfect, not a big dough ball like some places. We had veggie and pepperoni slices and they were delicious! Highly recommend! Don’t miss this when you’re in Wildwood. Wanted to try the Crazy Junky slice, but had no room after 2 slices. Oh… They also have breakfast and listen families: VERY FAIR prices!
