Ehh, $25 seems expensive for this. I ordered this for pick up. I also got a side of the baked beans which were too sweet. Corn bread cold (came with my 2 option meat plate), brisket was decent, but the burnt ends were pretty good. I will probably try another spot before I come back here

This bbq is super tender and delicious. The better part was the service. We had the pleasure of speaking with Josh who went out of his way to take in consideration of my food allergies and walking me throughout the menu. He also took the time to check in with us and his passion for this restaurant and food really shined through.

Went to Crazy Good BBQ for lunch while we were at a softball tournament. It was just ok.
I got the Certifiably Delicious plate. 2 meats, side, and corn bread for 15.95. I got the pulled chicken, turkey, and fries. Pulled chicken was tough and dry. The turkey was ok but not tender enough to be cut as thick as it was. The fries were really good, though. As the first picture shows, it is seriously overpriced for the portions of meat you get.
My wife got the turkey sandwich with onion straws. The onion straws stole the show. They were phenomenal.
All of the sauces were really good also. If not for the sides and the sauces, I would have rated less than 3 stars. In KC, if you are going to do BBQ, the meat needs to be on point and it just wasn’t here. Especially for the prices.
The restaurant was clean and neat, though.

For Thanksgiving we ordered a 14-16 lb smoked turkey. It was ready at the time I was supposed to pick it up and included detailed instructions to reheat.
What a treat!!! It was not only scrumptious but also very moist. It was the perfect center piece for my holiday family gathering. This will definitely be our annual tradition.

this was our second trip to Crazy Good Barbecue. My wife has a severe gluten allergy which is how we discovered the restaurant the first time around. we found all the food delicious and the sweet potato fries are the best we’ve had.. I think they’re sprinkled with magic dust. When we knew we be traveling through overland Park this weekend, we made sure to visit Crazy Good and have some more of those amazing fries. On this occasion the cashier was new and not fully abreast of the allergy protocol, but after we explained the trouble, they were quick to make it right. i think they even threw in an extra rib or two. that’s for a good experience. see you next time.

Placed an online order. Show up about 2-3 minutes early. Was told food hadn’t even been started. Nothing complicated, just two basic sandwiches and fries. Was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Mind you there were only about 6 or so people there and all just sitting at the bar. Got home to discover neither sandwiches had sauce. Specifically selected the sauce from the online order form. Good thing we had some KC Masterpiece sauce to put on them. Prices way too high for the portions and service.

I got the burnt end sandwich with onion straws and horseradish sauce with a side of fried pickles. The burnt ends were super good and tender, all around a great sandwich. The fried pickles were a little plain but still good. The prices were kinda high (50 bucks for 2 people at lunch time.

This is the 2nd time I’ve tried this local BBQ joint. I ordered full slab of ribs, chicken wings and a side of macaroni to go. Picked up at 1pm and food was ready to go and employee was very friendly.
The food was not good. Macaroni was for my wife she tried a bite gave it to me and it was just bad and went in the trash. As for ribs they were average at best and cold. Last the wings were the best part but that’s not saying much. (They also forgot the ranch for the wings and no BBQ sauce in to go bag)
Way to many BBQ joints in town to ever go back to this one.

We’ve had fantastic food here in the past but today was just SAD. I ordered the 2 meat meal (turkey, sausage, red potato salad) and my wife had the pulled chicken sandwich. Her chicken was 4 large chunks of chicken that were as dry as the Sahara. Her potato salad might as well have been raw. My turkey and potato salad were good but the sausage was virtually flavorless and the portions given for $17 was pathetic. We weren’t given forks, butter, or bbq sauce. The cornbread was cold and the bread pudding was so hard I couldn’t bite in to it.

They really wanted to come get your food so we tried again and you guys were amazing and friendly and the food was amazing. Just what I had come to expect so last time must have been the exception!
