If you’re looking for a “get your hands dirty” dining experience in VA,
Crazy Crab on Fairfax Blvd is a staple for seafood lovers. It’s best known for being one of the rare spots in the area offering an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Cajun seafood boil.

“Crazy Sauce” (the house mix). It’s the best way to get the full flavor profile.

Everything was excellent. The scallops, clams, oysters, and snow crab were top notch! The blue crab were a bit on the small side but you can eat all you want. We’ll be back for sure..

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your restaurant.
While the meal was fine, I was surprised to see an automatic 18% gratuity added to our bill for a party of only four. Usually, automatic tips are reserved for larger groups (6 or more) and should be clearly disclosed on the menu or by the server beforehand. We were given no such notice.
Furthermore, I noticed a “Processing Fee” charged to the customer. It is quite unusual and disappointing to see a business pass its operational transaction costs directly onto the guest without prior mention.
These hidden fees made what should have been a pleasant dining experience feel deceptive. I hope you reconsider these policies or, at the very least, ensure they are clearly communicated to future customers.

We had a great time. Food was good and quick. The snow crabs were a bit on the salty side but other than that it was good. As you can see my friend was enjoy every bit of it. We also enjoyed listening to full albums of bad bunny while we were there

Visited Crazy Crab once to try their AYCE seafood. It was a cool experience, but the garlic butter and most of the flavors were too salty for me. I ended up asking for plain boiled with no seasoning, which tasted much better.
I love seafood, especially crabs, so I was disappointed they only have male crabs and not female crabs with roe.
I had Manila clams, green mussels, and snow crab. Everything was fresh and good. Soft drinks are included, which is nice. Service was great, and the place and music were good too.
The price is a bit high, so I probably won’t come back anytime soon, but it’s worth trying once.

“We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and chose the all-you-can-eat option. With five of us, we ended up enjoying five full trays of snow crab and three platters of oysters — everything was fresh and absolutely delicious.

To make the evening even better, the staff surprised us with two complimentary cocktails. A young female staff member was especially kind and attentive, which made us feel truly welcomed. We were so grateful for the great service that we happily left a larger tip. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!”

Honestly, I’m more worried about how the owner is making a profit. Their seafood, including crawfish, is fresh; usually, you get a muddy flavor elsewhere, but not here! Servers are super nice as well. I go here at least once quarterly and bring friends who also enjoy seafood, and they love it as well!

It’s a decent spot for takeout. The food is good for the price, but the dine-in area feels a bit dark and doesn’t really give off a clean, inviting vibe that would make me want to sit and eat there. That said, it’s still a solid option if you’re looking for seafood boils to-go.

My favorites are the green oysters. For the sauce, I recommend mixing Cajun and lemon pepper — just skip the garlic butter, as many people (myself included) didn’t like the artificial butter taste.

Gonna get this off my chest first, very blunt, parking there is not good, very limited since there is so many stores next to Crazy Crab. Anyways, my wife and I went to this place for the ALL YOU CAN EAT seafood, but to my surprise, you get unlimited everything on the menu. This place is round based with food distribution, so every round you can choose 3 sides, and 3 of the seafood options. Some of the sides are mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and chicken tenders (there is WAY more but this, but that is basically what my wife and I got. The food quality was good, nothing to rave about but if you want unlimited sea food I would recommend this place. To the people complaining about the scenery, I understand that it’s a little dim, but it’s more than enough light to eat your food, it’s not a big deal. If you’re scared to eat here because you think the quality of their food is going to be bad, it’s not, do not be afraid to try it out. The service we got was amazing, I loved our waitress, constantly checking on us and making sure our drinks were filled, perfection. The restroom was super clean, and I loved the scent of their soap. Anywho to sum it all up, parking , service , food , scenery restroom .

I went here as a special treat with my husband! I was so excited but for some reason I decided to look at the reviews before going and I got worried, saw people saying the food was gross, that the people were not friendly and that it was not worth it. But we went anyways and omg!!! It was so good the food came fast and tasted so amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and constantly refilled our drinks. Sadly we could only do 2 trays, I asked her how much can she do she said 6!! Girl i need a new technique cause I feel like anytime rookie! Anyways I think this is a great place to eat all you can eat crab. It was $60 per person but I promise its worth it. Also idk what brand of ice cream they give you but I need it!! That chocolate ice cream is amazing.
