This location at Boeke and Covert have excellent fried chicken and gizzards. The potato logs are delicious, too. I call in my order and it is cooked fresh. Portion size of the gizzards is enough to share or have for another meal. The workers are friendly enough. The fountain drink area could use some tidying up, but I still get a fountain drink. I’ve ordered chicken and potato logs for work, neighbors, and family . Many have commented how delicious the food was.

The cashier was great. Other than that I spent $25 to eat four hot wings. I order a 10 piece all flats and I only got 4 of them. I am unable to produce enough stomach acid to process the muscles of the legs. The flats are tender enough for my stomach. Also as a online order I assumed that it would be cook to order but it was not fresh. Lastly, I do have MS with a very limp and weak right leg so I wasn’t prepared to get out of car and deal with that. This was my first experience and my last.

Just okay chicken. Prices are high. This is inside a Marathon gas station. Their prices are really high on gasoline. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
There are better places nearby such as R&K gas station on Riverside. They’re prices are great and the owner and his wife are really friendly and go out of their way to help you. Gas prices are amongst the lowest in the area. The only drawback is that it’s in the hood. Although they haven’t hosted any shootings there. There’s always shootings on the south side.

I have been eating this chicken as long is I can remember. My parents ate it before I was born! I have had fried chicken in at least 25 states and not had anything that can compare to crazy bobs.

Hands down, best fried chicken in Evansville. The sides are lackluster, so don’t expect much. After eating there several times, we have yet to get a dry piece of chicken.
