We ate outside and the temp was perfect. The salad dressing was very good. The roasted brussell sprouts were very good. Everything else was incredibly bland; we had stuffed shrimp and stuffed flounder and the mushroom appetizer. It was far too much money to spend on food that wasn’t great (and the quantities were small), but the company was excellent and the view was fabulous, so we called it good!

Meh…I’ve had better. The beer was flat and tasted horrible. The waitress had no personality and did not seem happy to be there. The food was bland to say the least. My chicken was just barely cooked and my friend found a hair in her pasta. The only thing that is good here is the view. There are definitely better restaurants in the area.

Went there for the first time yesterday. Had the stuffed mushroom appetizer and they weren’t very good at all. Friend got a Sprite that was incredibly awful. The my two friends got the T-bone steak and I got that the Shrimp Alfredo. At the end of the meal we were all displeased with the quality of the meal. I for on love my pasta. But, the Alfredo was god awful. If I could give negative stars I would

DO NOT EAT HERE! My first impressions were very good when we arrived at the Crazy Parrot. The view is really amazing. My group of 6 had reservations for 7 pm and arrived at about 6:50. We were seated by about 7 and put in our drink orders. The first round of drinks came back in a timely manor then we put in our appetizer orders. The appetizers were or but a tad expensive for what you got but we expected a slight premium for the amazing view as we sat outside near the lake. They were not served for almost 25 mins and we had ordered meals right after putting in that order.

After the first round of drinks were served the service pretty much dropped off to aweful at best. Two times we were able to flag down our waitress she took drink orders then forgot my drink. When she brought the drinks she forgot mine twice and never did go get it for me. We had to leave the table and go to the bar to get drinks because she almost never stopped to check on us.

So after not getting drinks served and 25 minutes for expensive so so appetizers we finally get the meals. I ordered the Mahi and stuffed shrimp for myself and GF. The meal was served at 8:30 PM. It took almost 1.5 hours to serve our food. When they brought it to us i was very disappointed! My fish was very dry and tiny. The fries were nasty. They were soggy, greasy and the serving size was so small it was laughable. They did not even serve my fish with lemon. The stuffed shrimp looked like it was taken out of a tv dinner and micro waved and tasted just as bad. The price on these two dinners was $19 and $18. Now if it had been good I am fine with that but this food was aweful if it was free. You would have a far better meal going to country fair and buying a microwave barrito. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Just a side note. I did make several calls to the owner to talk about the issue and was assured she or he would call me back. They never did. However, the manager I spoke to had worked that day I was there and said it was well known that the food was aweful and service was beyond bad and she was sorry. At no time did they try to correct the known problems with me just said to try us again and I will have better service next time. I think not with a check for $80 and completely unsatisfied with any part of this. None of my group will ever eat there again.

1st and last time I will be going here. Food was way overpriced for portion & quality we received. I don’t mind paying $22.99 for a dinner….it doesn’t have to be a lot quantity wise if it’s amazingly good food. Our dinners were neither. (crab stuffed filet & cajun mahi mahi) On their menu it says please be patient as all entrees are made fresh to order, the texture of the fish was as if it was microwaved and the filet was way overcooked. 1 hour 15 minutes just to get our food was a bit ridiculous though. Service was terribly slow. Waitress was scarce and didn’t seem to want to be bothered. The final straw was when I got the bill and an 18% tip was already added!! We didn’t have a large party, so I couldn’t understand why the tip was automatically added; maybe that’s why service isn’t that great, as the tip is automatically figured? I have never left an online review for anywhere – good or bad – until now.

—If I could leave negative stars I would!!! Their menu states– “We apologize for the wait, but we make everything fresh!” This is the biggest LIE. I can honestly say- in 30 years- this is the WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD– they do not cook a single thing- it is all prepackaged!
—My bridal party and my family took me here as a celebration dinner.
—We had a table of 7 people and NO ONE ate their meal.
—We ordered the conch fritters- there was no conch– just breading and loads of grease!
—A few of us ordered the Polynesian Chicken* – Two boneless chicken breasts marinated in pineapple juice, oregano & garlic. Grilled & topped with grilled pineapple.
——–Sounds great doesn’t it? It was terrible! It was dry prepackaged flavorless chicken, CANNED PINEAPPLE, mush and flavorless rice, and CANNED VEGETABLES! How DARE you charge me $18 for a meal that tastes worse than a $2.50 TV dinner and was the exact same level and quality of food.
—Another person ordered the sandwich version of this meal- it was a GIANT DRY stale roll with the same prepackaged/precooked chicken and canned pineapple and canned veggies.
—Another peson in our group ordered the pulled pork sandwich- it was so dry she literally could not swallow it.
—Not as single person at the table could even eat their meal let alone enjoy it. Canned food? Precooked chicken for $18/meal?
—When we said something to the waitress she said she would speak to the cook- they proceeded to give us $4.00 off our bill– WHAT???!!!
—who own’s this restaurant? They really need to WAKE UP! You have a beautiful spot but terrible sense of owning a restaurant.

—I AM APPALLED AND DISGUSTED that someone would even have the NERVE to serve such terrible, terrible, food. Our bill was HUGE and I would not eat their food again is they paid ME- I do not want such terrible preservatives in my body ever again!!!

Wonderful sunset views from the outdoor deck.
Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Ordered seafood which was fresh and delicious.

If you’re looking for a true waterfront dining experience with great food and atmosphere, don’t pass this by.

It’s well worth the detour off of I-90.

The food was the most horrible food I’ve ever eaten. My haddock fish sandwich tasted like cat piss. The ox roast sandwich was nothing but fat. And my strawberry daiquiri was nothing but strawberry preserves. We will never return. Thank god for free port during fishing season

I have ate here twice before and even had my rehearsal dinner here because it was so good. However, something has now changed. My fish had bones in every bite and what was supposed to be smothered in sauce, was actually a splash. Very disappointed and won’t be giving it another chance in awhile.

Steak was cooked too fast. Half of it was overcooked the other under cooked. T-bone steak had no flavor and they give you a small teaspoons of mashed potatoes and corn. Beyond that my mashed potatoes were cold. I ordered soup instead of salad and was charged 1.10… for what!! It was more sour cream than soup. Will never be back as you’re paying for the scenery.
