We came for brunch on Sunday. DJ Q was a vibe, he had the place rocking from 12-6. The servers were very nice, not very attentive which was interesting because it wasn’t super crowded. The food took entirely too long to come out, which is a trend I see from other reviews. The taste was OK. Homefries were the best thing on the plate. The salmon trio and grits were bland. The seafood dip was salty. This place has potential but some improvements can be made. I hope they get better because I would love to write a better review in the future.

I celebrated my birthday with a Boozy Tea Party-themed brunch at Cray Taste in Old City, which offered a social club vibe at a reasonable price. Justin, the owner, was very accommodating, allowing me to host up to 15 guests with various party package options. Cray Taste is BYOB establishment with corkage fees for liquor and wine.

The wings and fish and grits I ordered were flavorful, but my friends had mixed experiences with their food. Some dishes lacked seasoning, and one guest’s cheesesteak appetizer was delayed, though compensated with extra portions. The standout dish was the chicken and shrimp Rasta pasta.

The overall vibe of the brunch was great, thanks to attentive customer service and a DJ that kept the energy high with hit after hit. While Cray Taste is closing their Old City location on October 27th, I’ll definitely be visiting their new spot. For the food, I’d give it a 7/10, but the brunch experience as a whole gets a solid 10/10.

I’m in love! The food here was amazing, leave the hot sauce in your bag you will not need it. My family and I visited this place on a Saturday afternoon and it was inviting, great music and pleasant staff. The chef even came out to check on us and introduce himself. The Henry punch is also really good. Definitely coming back.

My party of 5 had a reservation for 3:15 pm. We didn’t get our appetizer until 4:45 pm, and even then we only got 1/3 of them. We got our entrees at 5:20 pm, and then got the rest of our appetizers shortly after. Sure BYOB and Hookah is cool and The food was very good, but no one wants to go somewhere and have to wait that long for food. Especially when the restaurant is half empty. Street parking is 3 hours. I didn’t expect things to take as long as my parking limit was. Also…. Be warned that if you BYOB, they will charge you a fee. The fee costed more than the bottle I brought.

We went Saturday evening, the music was very loud at this particular time and the drinks must have been good and strong because several people stumbled out the door Food was delicious and good portions. The salmon was a little too done but the sauce made up for it. The Cray Bae punch was good and strong. Saturday evenings may be for a younger crowd vibing to loud music and hookahs but definitely has great food!

An employee at another restaurant recommended this establishment and I’m so glad he did. The food was great! Our server was so patient and kind. She even took our pictures in front of the Cray Taste backdrop! I would definitely return!

We were visiting from NYC and found this place on TIKTOK. We made reservations as recommended. We were seated promptly upon our arrival. They were offering complimentary mimosas, which was dope! The music, service and atmosphere were great! The food was very delicious! The only thing was, we ordered a pitcher and the pitcher is literally enough for two drinks! I would advise to just get separate drinks as the glasses were bigger than the pitcher. Overall 9/10! We will return if we’re back in Philly!

Reservation was at 1pm, seated 115pm. Ordered appetizers 130. Arrived 2pm and meal arrived 3:11. Food was mediocre at best and wait was ridiculous. Not even gonna talk about the BYOB fee and the 20% gratuity fee. I Ordered the steak and eggs and I couldn’t find the steak. Such a disappointment.

This place was okay. The red velvet waffle could be better. The chicken was good and the Mac/cheese was dry. The main reason as to why I gave it two stars is because Chef Smith brought me a hookah for $45 that only last for LITERALLY 15 mins. He brought another coal for it but it was freakin dead. Such a waste of money. I regret getting it. But the complimentary shrimp was really good. Out of towners (two of us) and we were the only ones there at 12/1 on a Friday so be aware of the time and day you come

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was a nice relaxing vibe. “Bottomless” mimosas are offered but the fine print is you get 2 complentary and pay for additional. That would be the only bad thing.
