Me and my girlfriend love to try baked good wherever we go (she’s a baker so especially her). This is unequivocally the best opening we’ve had to any other place. Sometimes you get a handful of items and most are okay and one or two are good, but here, everything we’ve had is phenomenal. The flavors, the balance, the moisture, the freshness, the textures, etc, it’s all there. We’ve been there twice getting collectively like almost 2 dozen items now, and can say definitively, everything has been a home run!
The owners are some of the most down to earth and friendly people you can meet. You can tell the passion they have and how much it means to them to put out quality products, and that a lot of the recipes have sentimental value and history to them. They are very involved with the community and care very much about everyone. They’ll pour their hearts out to you and tell you how and tell you about the experiences they have, and how other customers tell them positive, personal, and heartwarming feedback, and how much that means to them. To be able to bring smiles to peoples faces. It’s great conversation everytime you go in.

I come here at least, once or twice a week! Me and my girlfriend can’t get enough, love the dynamic of the owners, and the treats are so creative and unique yet tasty. 5 stars easy, I recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

The bakery is cute and quaint. The staff makes the experience enjoyable every time, whether you are a new visitor or a regular, they treat you like they have been friends with you forever. The cupcakes…my daughter doesn’t usually eat the cake part of a cupcake (the frosting is decidedly the best part) but she LOVES the cake part of their Cotton Candy cupcake. I’ve tried their cupcakes, their donuts (I especially love their apple fritters which are big enough for a family of three to share), and their cinnamon rolls are top notch (I’m a sucker for a cinnamon roll, but I’m also a cinnamon roll snob…these are amazing).
You would think you’d have to pay high prices for food this great, but their prices are very reasonable, especially for how good everything is.
It’s not close to where I live, but the drive into Fruitport is worth it for their food.
You will not regret giving them a try!
