Their beef jerky is surprisingly good, seriously addictive. The papaya salad is authentic and full of flavor, especially when paired with sticky rice. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious.
Just thinking about the food makes me want to go back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Definitely worth checking out.
We’re back! Unfortunately they didn’t have fresh crawfish. I remember growing up in WA we call it crayfish. Still one of our favorites, but note the Lao sausage is more Esan flavors.

We still think the food is great and this is the only place in SA we know that serves Lao food. On this occasion, fresh crawfish is great and very reasonable at $ per lb, which could probably charge more. The Lao sausage, this has changed, not as sour or fragrant but fattier. We tried the Tom Yum soup, good value as there is lots of chicken but a bit too many chickens and would prefer less, instead more tomatoes/mushrooms and fresh chili instead of dried chilis. This and lime on the side would improve the flavor. We still enjoy dining here!

Back for fresh crawfish! One of the better deals per lbs. Lao beef jerky and yummy fluffy donuts!
Lao restaurant!!!
At this moment, and please correct me, this is the only Lao restaurant in town but limited to the recognizable dishes for the local palate.
Lao sausage and sticky rice. Sausage almost perfect, I prefer dryer and less fat with the aroma of lemon grass as you bite into it. Wish there was jeow mak len to go with it.
Papaya salad. This was a bit sweet for our taste but a bit of lime fix it. Needs a little more anchovies for us but it’s Dede Lao style.
Nam khao. Almost perfect, we can tell the difference on the nam, cutting versus ripping by hand and Nam flavor.
Snow crab and crawfish boil. We knew it’s not fresh but opted to try. The crab was great, but not crawfish, not on them, just can’t beat fresh crawfish. Will be back when it’s in season.
I’m happy we found this place, year not exact to how we like our Lao food but it’s close, good value and service, will definitely be my go to Lao restaurant here.
