Found a gem here!
There isn’t much variety in this area apart from American, Italian, Indian or Asian food, so this place really brings a refreshing new option. Louisiana soul food.
The portions are large for the price and the menu variety is impressive.
The staff are friendly and very attentive always asking if you enjoyed the food and refilling without having to be asked.
I was especially impressed by their dedication to the decor, it’s clearly a small mom and pop business but they have done a wonderful job of bringing the south to south jersey by beautifully decorating the rooms with New Orleans magic.
That’s level of effort really warrants a visit.
So drop by, try great food, get the Mardi Gras, and meet some great people.
I advise the alligator and jambalaya.

Wow, Cajun cooking in the middle of South Jersey. Who knew? The food is quite good, parking is at a real premium. Pictured is the NOLA Trinity and a stack of fried green tomatos with Mozzarella. Anything you get here will be very good.
Crawdaddys missed the 5th star because a steak was prepared tartar and not medium, also, there was a delay in getting all dishes served at the same time. The service was excellent.
If you are looking for a quiet “date night”, this is the place. Enjoy!

Came here for Christmas Eve Dinner with my family. Food was amazing! They had a special menu for the day. My wife and I had the steak with garlic mash, greens, shrimp and crawfish. Daughter had the crab boil. They say a picture speaks a thousand words – so I’ll let my 2 photos speak to you and make you salivate! Put this spot on your must visit list 2026!!! You won’t be disappointed!

A hidden gem. The food was bursting with flavor. Louis Armstrong playing in the background. The gumbo soup was amazing. And the jambalaya had a great flavor, not too spicy. With a touch of fresh basil and rosemary. The meal was served with rolls with rosemary butter, and traditional NOLA olive spread. The hush puppies were very good as well. My pictures are not fancy. But the food was excellent. I will definitely be a repeat customer. can’t wait to try other things on the menu. Awesome NOLA cuisine.

Crawfish dish was amazing good catfish and Mac and cheese was top notch. I strongly suggest using the website which uses toast to save money. Very clean eating area. Jazz playing inside. Good amount of parking. Hours of operation is nice. Gator bites taste like veal but good.

First visit here and happy to see this type of food in our area. Started with the gator bites (solid- not pictured), had the shrimp and grits, banana foster w/vanilla ice cream and the beignets. The desserts were outstanding! The shrimp and grits were solid, great flavor, but the only thing I would have liked to see was less liquid in the dish. While tasty, it was too much and “melted away” the grits into it making it soupy and hard to taste and enjoy the consistency of the grits.

Had the clams casino which were really good. The beans and rice with sausage were really good too. I’d get that again and would recommend it to others as well.

Very cozy restaurant, loved subtle NOLA decor. Wasn’t too crowded. Staff super friendly. The sides could’ve had a little more seasoning for my liking but were still delicious. The entrees were great! Will be returning
