New comers to Crawdaddy’s and we will be back! The food was yummy. Jambalaya as starter for hubby. He gave a definite thumbs up and will enjoy half of it for lunch tomorrow. Very generous portions and he wanted to save room for his entree. He got the blackened ribeye, baked potato and creamed spinach. Not a bite left so how lunch enjoyed it goes without being said. I have the grilled shrimp with cheese grits and fried Brussels. Mine was quite tasty as well. We finished off with crème brûlée. Complimentary as it was my husbands birthday! Our service was exceptional. Ashland did a great job. The atmosphere was great indoor and outdoor seating we sat outside on the upstairs deck. Seating down below in the courtyard looked wonderful as well. Would recommend for sure. 40 minute drive for us but we’ll worth it. Great job Crawdaddy’s! And the bonus was $5 bourbon night which just happens to be hubby’s fav, happy birthday to him!

Louisiana born and raised so I am always searching for cajun food here. We drove an hour to try this place and it was just OK. Food is drowned in tomatoes and capers which was disappointing. I think there was a whole jar of capers in my shrimp pasta. We tried the sampler of jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, and gumbo. The etouffee was the best out of the three and closest to what you might get in Louisiana. I’m not recommending the gumbo or jambalaya. The atmosphere and decor outside was reminiscent of New Orleans restaurants. The food was ok for a meal so I won’t review too hard, based on what’s expected with authentic Louisiana cuisine. Prices are high, as well.

Visiting for a night! My sister lived in this town 20 yrs ago and didn’t remember how cute the Downtown was. Especially this delicious spot! We started with fried green tomatoes and gator bites, Seafood etouffee with grits and fried green beans, Cajun sampler with sweet potato fries rounded out the meal. Garrett was a great server and we enjoyed every morsel. Keep doing great things!!!

We stayed in Cookeville for the night and found that most non-chain restaurants were closed on Sunday, except for Crawdaddy’s. We enjoyed their blackened salmon with a Cajun seasoning. They made good drinks, but the service was extremely slow. We had to ask several times about our drinks. Overall, we were glad they were open, definitely worth the stop.

10/10!!! Wow ! What an amazing restaurant. We are from SC and the dealership we went to recommended this place, I’m glad we listened! We ordered gator bites, Shrimp and scallop creole, Royal St. Rack of lamb with lobster. DELICIOUS!!! GREAT FOOD SELECTIONS and priced very well!!! I wish this is close to us because this is now one of my favorite restaurants!

Coming from SETX, this was a nice surprise. The food was close to being cajun and filled the void I’m going to miss about Louisiana. 3 stars for the food because obviously the gator isn’t fresh nor the crawfish, but still good food. April was so friendly and patient tending to all-out needs, so a 5 there. The atmosphere started at a 5, but we were on the 2nd floor, and the bar is there, so it gets a little noisy, so 4. All in all, it’s a great place and a definite go-to if you have the chance.

We had a bicycle co-op meet here and it was amazing. I didn’t get the chance to eat anything there but the aroma was so inviting. I had a glass of water that tasted heavenly. Hmmm the food would definitely also taste heavenly

We really enjoyed this place. It’s so nice to find a hidden gem with great Cajon food. Plus Oysters “oh yeah”. We even took home dessert. So good must try it!

Overall really good! We waited about 10 minutes for our server to come to our table and the Bourbon Chicken was a tad saltier than expected but everything else was amazing! My fiancé got the jambalaya and loved it.

We stopped in at about 4:45pm and were seated immediately. They have 2 levels of indoor seating, a patio area & a rooftop area. The seating was very clean and organized for the incoming guest. We chose to seat indoors this evening. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer and it was delicious. My wife had the Fried Catfish, I had the Bone-in Ribye (medium rare) & both were cooked excellent. Our server was very polite & informative with our orders. She made sure to check in with us regularly, which I appreciated. We ended sharing a slice of Lemon Cello that was very flavorful. Overall great experience. We definitely recommend visiting here because we will definitely be back again.
