As a native of Lafayette, La finding truly authentic and delicious crawfish outside of Cajun country is extremely difficult. Crawdaddy’s, however, delivered the absolute best crawfish I’ve ever had outside of Louisiana . Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and soaked for the right amount of time! Absolutely excellent crawfish. Didn’t realize that most of what I’ve had before was probably overcooked until I had them from here. Seasoning wasn’t what I’m used to, but by the second one, I was definitely a fan. Very friendly and incredibly quick service. The tables are absolutely bare bones, picnic tables with rolls of paper towels and hot sauce, but it does give an atmosphere of a backyard boil, so it absolutely works for what they serve.

Crawdaddy’s is the best place to get crawfish in the area!! We try to stop by at least once a week through crawfish season. We love the flavor, it has the perfect amount of seasoning. Other places aren’t as seasoned. We love the new brick and mortar location in Pelham (it’s a lot closer to home) but also love stopping by the food truck when we are in the Hoover area. If you haven’t had Crawdaddy’s, what are you waiting on?! Go by and get you some!

Went on opening night and had crab legs, shrimp poboy and crawfish tacos between the table. Everything was amazing and came out quickly! Always loved the crawfish and service from the food trucks, this is a great addition to the offerings.
