I can’t stress enough how tasty it was. The portions and the price were great too.
It wasn’t very busy when we arrived mid-afternoon. We were seated quickly. It was very clean inside, bright, vibrant, and inviting.
Our server, a young man, was very helpful, and explained various menu items, and was helpful with our questions. He suggested items, and we tried some of his suggestions.
I ordered the Galbi (Korean Short Ribs) which came with Kimchi, rice, and broccoli. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. We had spring rolls, and rangoon as well, both of which were pretty standard, nothing over the top, but still tasty.
I had never had Galbi, and when I say that I was blown away with how good it was, I’m not over stating it. I’ll drive the two hours to this place just for that meal again. It was charred well, cooked perfectly, tender, juicy, and had such an intensely delicious flavor that I was shocked. I couldn’t believe I had never had that before. Everything else was absolutely delicious. The chili oil was also excellent!
My girlfriend loved her Pad Thai. It was cooked properly and seasoned well.
They do not skimp on portions here at all. They are very helpful. It’s very clean inside (the bathrooms were immaculate). They have a really nice menu with great options. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will be returning for sure.
Birmingham Mi. And we’re driving back from Missouri. Decided to stop in kzoo area and found this restaurant. Very cool place!
It is tucked back a ways from the main road (W Q Ave.). Wow, they did a great job on this building–it looks amazing!
For starters, we ordered the Pot Stickers, Beef Bulgogi Bao Buns, and Fried Dumplings (we were starving, don’t judge, lol!). They were all really good, but the Bulgogi Bao Buns were outstanding!
For dinner, we orderd the Tonkotsu Ramen (tofu), Thai Massaman Curry (veggie), Sichuan Beef Brisket Ramen, and I ordered the Pad Thai (not pictured – too hungry).
Everyone really liked their dishes!!
We have been numerous times to the Westnedge location. We have never been disappointed!
It is no exception at this location! Great quality food, friendly staff, and quick service! Highly recommend!!
***They have beer & sake***
***They offer dishes/specials not available at the Westnedge location***
Update 10/10/25
Stopped in on a Friday evening, place was packed. They are now doing table side service, which is nice. We ordered the beef boa buns (pretty sure this could be the main course!), Thai massaman curry and the galbi Korean short rib. Come one now…the galbi was sooo good and flavorful!! Massaman was ok (texture thing). Service was great as usual…they work as a team really well! Never disappoints!
