I wish we lived closer to U of I, just because of this restaurant. The food was so fresh and delicious. We ordered Beef chow fun, Singapore chow fun, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and veggie fried rice with tofu. All of the dishes were hot and delicious. I loved that they have two different menus, one for traditional Chinese food and one for more American Chinese food.

Was excited to try this restaurant as we just dropped off our son. We re from N side of Chicago so was expecting decent Chinese food. We must have ordered the wrong things. Cause the beef chowfun and Mongolian chicken did not look like what they’re supposed to look like. They looked similar. Tasted similar. And so much onions. Maybe I should have tried orange chicken and that other beef dish in one of the reviews.
It was not good but not bad.
Meh.
Even AI labeled them as stir fry chicken and onions with chicken. I had to edit the labels.
Maybe I got the wrong order ?

The food I had was pretty good. The general tso chicken was a little on the spicy side. Didn’t know that. Everything else was good

I can say the best Chinese restaurant I’ve tried in US or even north American. Authentic, delicious and in a good price range.
The szechuan eggplant and kuey tiew beef (name is different on menu) are amazing. 10 to 20 dollar per person and in lunch hours u can get dishes for as low as 8 to 10 dollar, and free chinese tea!

Cheap food at a great price! Americanized but good tasting Chinese food. They also have some classics depending on what you order. If you are. A student on a tight budget, then definitely check this place out! In my opinion, much better than what you could get at a Chipotle or Qdoba!

Ordered fish and noodle dishes here last Chinese New Year and have dropped by for lunch from time to time. They did not disappoint. Overall, it’s a nice Chinese restaurant with consistently decent lunch specials. Gives you a good portion at a fair price.

The name of the restaurant is just right. I tried thier beef fried rice on a quest to find my favorite Chinese restaurant and now I crave thier food (something about the taste is unique and I can seem to place my finger on it or find that anywhere else) every once in a while. I drive an hour from my house just to get it when that craving hits. The customer service is also top notch, really nice and friendly people. 10/10 would recommend

My favorite restaurant for lunch/dinner around campus. I love the staff, they are very friendly and helpful. If you don’t know what you want, just ask them, they will suggest something that you will definitely like. They also have tea and water for free. The portion is big, and I sometimes have to ask for a box, which is awesome. The price is amazing, I think is very cheap for what you get. My recommendations are garlic eggplant, crispy tofu, and Orange chicken.

Authentic chinese food that’s on campus. I ordered the yangzhou fried rice which was delicious. It’s cheaper if you pay in cash (I paid like 9.5 ish cash) and they have free cold water and hot tea. It’s pretty spacious and overall a great place
Atmosphere wise, it’s definitely okay for a meal, but definitely not a place with good enough atmosphere to go on a date.
Overall, really great place. I suggest coming here after a cbtf test (which is what I do)
