We tried Crave in King’s Mountain Sunday. We went at lunch and they were not busy at all. Only a couple others inside. The food was good, and the staff was friendly. If you are looking for a good hot dog (all beef) and potato salad was great! They also have ax throwing, and pour your own draft beer if you’re looking for something different to try.

The first time here have read about it, it was really good. It was not busy at all because of the time of day. I will definitely go back to try other things. We ordered the Mac and Cheese dog and the Memphis dog with the coleslaw on the side. I wasn’t too fond of the coleslaw it seemed bland, but that’s ok because I’m not much of a fan of mayo based slaw. I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Man. I saw a review recommending revisiting if you tried this place early on. I did, and we did. There are two employees working EVERYTHING. Empathy. Taking orders, making and serving food, working the axe booths, changing beer taps, taking payments. Axe throwing was fun and well explained, props to the employees from handling everything. The food however takes forever to come out. You can tell immediately that the quality lines up with people on hand. Don’t get me wrong, they were busting thier butts, but the food quality is evident that the least amount of hands needed to serve the better. We ordered a sampler: the pulled chicken was dry and tasted terrible. The pulled pork was no better. The wings were fine because of ranch and buffalo sauce, they were definitely frozen generic not smoked wings. The sausage was fine but still in line with what you could get from a johnsonville package at the grocery store. The beer garden had empty kegs that the team couldn’t change because they were so busy handling everything else, I tried multiple and informed the team of empty kegs. I ended up tapping out. Every table in there was waiting on food. Like, a long time. I cannot recommend unless you only go to throw axes and drink various beers from the garden, it’s a great value if the kegs can flow. Looking for food? Go elsewhere. Again, props to the staff for working hard and trying to keep up.

Let me start with the atmosphere. The seating area is comfortable with plenty of space between tables. Many TVs on the wall so if that’s your thing you can sure to find something to watch. Lots of different beers on tap for you to choose from and they have axe throwing
Are food this evening was less than desired look at the pictures. The child’s hot dog look like it was over microwaved, wrinkled and tough, The all beef hot dog was good. The seasoned fries were delicious, but the unseasoned fries seemed undercooked along with the chicken strips.
The brat was tasty but the gluten-free bun, we found out, they keep frozen and warm in the microwave. This was obvious because it was heated too much and was actually hard on one side. All of this took about a half an hour or so to get on our table and only after we went and asked about it.
Everything we addressed was immediately taken care of, including a spill from one of the toddlers in our group.
The bathroom was not well stocked, it’s a matter of fact, it was totally out of toilet paper. There was also trash on the floor.
We were told that they were very busy that evening and is why most of our issues happened. Not sure if the person who wrote the schedule knew it was the Kings Mountain festivities evening or not but they definitely needed to have a lot more help there.

Absolutely wonderful staff. They have the best hot dogs and food. The beer is amazing and they have axe throwing and games and claw machines and basketball. 10/10 best place to go for a fun date night or a family night out. They have different deals of different days out of the week. Im definitely coming here more often

Great food and good time for a family of 12. They reserved a table and ax throwing lanes for our family get together on Sunday. They also made sure the kegs were replaced when needed on the beer wall. We will definitely be back!

New location in Kings Mountain. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of food and plenty of sauces. Had a party of 12 walk in and we were quickly served and attended to. This is a new go-to place for our team. Large beer selection and axe throwing.

Only 4 for atmosphere since Sunday afternoon around 2:30 and nobody else was there, but server was SUPER helpful and friendly. The layout and decor were pretty cool, with lots of TVs to watch whatever sports you’d like. We had pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, mac+cheese and beans… serving sizes were good and all tasted great. Will be returning to try the axe throwing and some of the MANY brews on the self-serve tap wall. Prices with non alcohol drink and tip are about $20pp, which we considered good for the good food and service. I DO recommend this place and hope it thrives.

Came in around 620. Place was empty. 2 people working. Ordered 1 dog and 1 pulled pork. Food was mid. Service was terrible. Took over 30 min in an empty store that took just 1 pick up order while we were waiting. Beer kegs were flat and empty. Mostly both workers were just rude and basically said to bad buddy. We Wont be back. 238 next store is a much better place for the same price. Do not waste your time.
