I took my girlfriend to Crave for Valentine’s Day, and overall it was a good experience, though not without a few distractions. The food itself was solid—well prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients—but for what you get, it does feel overpriced.

What stood out most to me, surprisingly, was the atmosphere. I’m not usually someone who notices décor much, but this visit was different. The restaurant still had Christmas decorations up well past the holidays, and on Valentine’s Day no less. It wasn’t offensive, just odd—and noticeable enough that it became a topic of conversation at the table. It slightly took away from what should have been a more romantic, intentional vibe for the occasion.

Service was fine and the setting is generally comfortable, but at this price point, details matter. Seasonal décor lingering into mid-February felt like a miss.

Overall, Crave delivers good food, but between the cost and the small but distracting details, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations that come with a special-occasion dinner.

Crave has truly lost its charm. Perhaps it was just the day I went, but the services were subpar.
They didn’t even bother refilling our drinks.

To make matters worse, the food sat out for a while until one of the runners brought it to the server area and pretended it had just been served.

The renovated space feels like a resort-style retreat—beautiful, calm, and incredibly relaxing. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. We were also blessed with an amazing server, Sophie—attentive, quick, and always greeting us with a genuine smile. After reading some mixed reviews, I feel especially grateful we had such a great experience, particularly since we hadn’t been back in over a year.

The food was excellent. I had the Thai steak, and my wife ordered the chicken rice bowl—both were delicious and well-prepared.

They also have a full bar with a solid wine selection and plenty of great non-alcoholic options. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

I usually go to the Crave restaurant in Maple Grove, but once in a while when I’m in this area, I come to this one as well. The staff has always been extremely kind and service has always been quick and efficient. I love the decor inside with the earth tones. The food is amazing as always. I absolutely love their new menu and some of the new dishes that they have. However, I do wish they will come up with a few new drink items on the menu.

We had a disappointing first day in Minnesota when it came to food, so we were really hoping to turn things around on day two. We originally planned to eat at The Original Pancake House right across the street, but after waiting nearly 50 minutes for a table with no update, we decided to look around for other options.

That’s when I spotted Crave across the street and I’m so glad we gave it a try!

I ordered the Steak frites, cooked medium rare, and it was absolutely delicious, easily the best meal we’d had since arriving. It came with truffle fries and asparagus. My only small critique is that the fries portion was a bit much, and I would’ve loved more asparagus to balance the plate. Other than that, the dish was perfect.

Before ordering any other drinks, I started with a double shot of espresso, mainly because I’ve had a string of disappointing coffee experiences in Minnesota so far. As someone who makes espresso at home on my own machine, I could tell right away that the grind was too coarse. The shot tasted overly bitter, and the volume was too large for a proper double, which reinforced my thought that the grind and extraction time were off. Because of that, I decided not to order any additional coffee drinks and we just stuck with water for the rest of the meal.

My boyfriend ordered the burger, also medium rare, with a side salad. I tasted the salad and was genuinely impressed the balsamic dressing was so good, even for someone like me who’s not usually a fan. He said the burger could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but it was still a solid step up from what we had previously.

The restaurant is located in one of the newer malls in the area very stylish, clean, and with friendly staff. Overall, we gave the experience an 8 out of 10. Nearly perfect, and such a welcome surprise after a rough start with food and coffee in Minnesota. We’re so glad we ended up at Crave!

Absolutely stunning restaurant! Even the bathroom. Decor and ambiance are top notch and everything is so beautifully maintained.

We started with the calamari. Fantastic appetizer! I was not real hungry and I just wanted something light so I got the Poke bowl. The vegetables were natural flavors only but the salmon flavor was fantastic! Everything was beautifully plated.

Service wasn’t bad but it was a little on the slow side. I can not fault them for this however because this was most likely due to some kind of high school formal event, the place was packed, obviously a local hot spot for finer dining. Prices were a bit on the expensive side but not unreasonable, we averaged $40 a person with 3 of us.

We have a Crave in Sioux Falls also. I have been there but that we before I started writing reviews. I don’t recall being as impressed with the Sioux Falls Crave as I was with this one, I will have to go back and check it out.

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit!

My family of 12 came in on Christmas Eve for a holiday lunch, and our server Seth made it truly memorable right from the start. He was attentive, friendly, and did an outstanding job pairing wines with our entrees. The sushi rolls were all delicious and fresh, with generous portions. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, even on a busy holiday, and the staff handled our large group flawlessly. This unique spot, we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

The ambiance, the decor, the staff, all greet you upon arrival. When you are going to be sat the host preemptively asks if you require a special menu, which as a gluten free vegan was awesome! I also required special seating for our party due to a wheelchair and they didn’t even hesitate to accommodate us. As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol but doesn’t like to be left out with just lemonade as a drink option, I was pleasantly impressed with their nonalcoholic drink menu. I ordered the prohibition one and really enjoyed it. Crave has always impressed me with their inclusion of vegetarian offerings but the beet and quinoa vegan salad was amazing! Everyone was so pleased with their meals. We ended with a fun sparkling dessert for the birthday lady!

I loved everything about our evening! The Chicken Mediterranean dish is so flavourful with tender chicken and perfectly done rice. We had beer and wine and dessert. The price is a bit more than Olive Garden, but much fresher food, higher end atmosphere with beautiful dining lights. Service was also great. We were at the Edina, MN location in the Galleria mall.
