Seafood restaurants on the UES have disappeared over the last few years — Crave Fishbar was not only a welcomed addition, but maybe one of the best additions on Second Ave. I’ve been eating here since they opened in 2024. The fresh seafood dishes are exceptional, only surpassed by the service… the crew behind the bar, the waiters, even the cooks in the kitchen who wave ‘hello’. The menu changes seasonally, here are a few of my favorite dishes. Enjoy!!!

I came here for dinner with my friend for restaurant week + happy hour. When i walked in i noticed how cramped and small the restaurant was. The two person booth was so small. Anyways my crab hand roll was very mediocre and dry. It was $12 on happy hour i couldn’t imagine paying anything more for it.
My margarita was good and my friend enjoyed her mocktail spritz. Crispy rice tuna was small but delicious. I had a slider too and that was decent , the meat wasn’t all the way cooked inside it was raw. My barramundi was good. The Thai curry lobster was good as well but they put in large pieces of bamboo , eggplant ,
Onions and the lobster where you would have to cut it. It came in a bowl like it was soups o now you are awkwardly cutting food inside a curry soup bowl, it didn’t make sense. My friend also had something wrong with one of her oysters and they kindly replaced it for her.
Our server evie was really nice! And helpful with picking items on the menu. I wouldn’t be opposed to coming back here but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I came here for restaurant week with a friends and we both did their $60 prix fixe menu. I thought the calamari and fish tacos were okay. However, I really liked the lobster curry with rice and the crusted salmon. I would definitely order these two items again. For dessert we had the key lime pie and cheesecake, and both were delicious. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back to this place, regardless of restaurant week.

SO WORTH IT! 1$ happy hour oyster on monday is a BLESSING. The oysters were yummy, fresh, and sweet. Today’s 1$ oyster was the bayside sweets – and I ended up eating 20 myself.
***they might only have 1$ oysters on Mondays btw – so double check!***
Espresso martini is SO GOOD, very strong, and guess what – it’s 10$ for happy hour too.
Dirty martini was YUM and really briny so I loved it.
1000/10 would return. Happy hour is only from 17.00-18.30, so although the time limit is short, the food was worth. #oystergram

Best meal I have enjoyed on the Upper East Side in years. The staff could not be more welcoming. The service was better than a 5 star hotel. And then the food—I could not get enough of the savory taste that made the night an Epicurean experience. The chef really cared about the artistry and the taste of the food made; the portions were of perfect size and the food deliciously out of this world. Best fish tacos—I do not know he they did it so well. The main courses for all 4 of us each excelled expectations. No detail was missed. My only advice to the owners is to keep expanding.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends! The service and dishes were excellent. Although we encountered a slight issue with one spicy dish, the staff went above and beyond to address it promptly. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and the cozy design adds to the charm. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a fine addition to the neighborhood with quality food and great service. Like other reviewers have already noted, the spicy tuna roll is really excellent. I think other dishes were very good, but I didn’t feel any stood out. The flavor was a little flat and were missing depth or complexity. I also didn’t find a lot on the entrees on the menu that I really wanted to try, especially at the menu price points. Still, I’m glad we have great establishments being added to the Upper East Side.

I’ve been here twice and both times for happy hour. The service is lovely and the atmosphere is wonderful but I have found the oysters to be very small and tasteless both times. The sliders are average and the sushi is good but not as good as any Japanese restaurant would be. The cocktails are not memorable even though they sound good on the menu.

Don’t let the scaffolding outside deter you like it did us! This restaurant is amazing. A Mexican twist to seafood in the best way. We don’t repeat restaurants often, but we will be coming back here! We got the oysters, crispy rice (incredible), salmon tostadas, and yellowfin tuna entree – all were outstanding. Honorable mention also for our drinks- the Fireside Old Fashioned and some sort of Gin Sour with cinnamon. Everything was so good!!

It offers a solid happy hour experience, with a great seafood selection. On weekends, happy hour runs from 4-6 pm, and during the week, it’s from 5-6:30 pm.
The oysters are definitely a highlight—fresh, briny, and served at a great price. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are attentive and friendly, making sure you have everything you need.
While it delivers a satisfying seafood experience, I personally prefer their Upper West Side’s sushi quality.
