I’m definitely not disappointed. I had no clue how large the tacos actually are. Huge. Huge. Easily the length of paper currency and absolutely stuffed with fresh ingredients. The mac-n-cheese ‘side’, off the charts and also huge. A solid meal for two. Or for one over two days, although I’m not sure the taco shell integrity would last much longer than an hour with the juices from the ingredients.
Extremely reasonable price given the portion size and very friendly people behind the counter.
Oh, the desserts looked ridiculous as well. Maybe next time.
5/11/25: Added two pics from a subsequent visit the same week as the original review. Obviously, dessert happened. My only comment about the burger, which was awesome. People usually complain about all buns, not much burger. I actually could’ve used more bun to hold it together. Ended up using a knife and fork, a burger consumption violation. I’m an amateur.
8/7/25: Another crime scene photo added. This time of a cheesesteak over mac-n-cheese. I would’ve posted last night but was in an unexpected coma. Also tried the broccoli salad. Don’t tell my aunt, but I’ve found one better than hers. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear they use the bacon grease in it.
Had a cheeseburger. Excellent.
Update 9/18/25
I had one of their signature cheeseburgers. Ordered on line. Picked up in the restaurant. I ate it in the restaurant. It was excellent. Since the last time I was here, several years ago, they’ve added picnic tables outside.
I still highly recommend Crave Eatery in Elkton.
This place used to be Lena’s. They’ve changed management. It’s now Crave Eatery
Inside, it’s Crave Eatery. It’s new management and a new staff. The menu is also new. It’s extremely good.
They sell a double cheeseburger. The burgers are so big that it was difficult for me to get my mouth around them. It’s delicious. It looked so good that I started eating before I remembered to take a picture. My wife had an excellent BLT.
There’s free parking out front. Unfortunately, Crave Eatery is not handicapped accessible. If you’re wheelchair dependent, you won’t be able to get inside. Otherwise, if you’re in Elkton at lunchtime, this is the place to eat.
I got the smokehouse and an order of onion rings for lunch and man, it was way too much. The steak was sloppy, but PACKED, and it tasted awesome, so many different flavors it was almost like sensory overload for a cheese steak. The onion rings were some of the best I’ve had too. They have a chipotle sauce they come with, which seemed house-made and it was damn good too. Could’ve been Hidden Valley, idk, didn’t care by that point the sandwich and onion rings were on point.
What kind of prompted me to leave a review is how they sent my onion rings. When I ordered them I expected them to be soggy and over cooked like ordering from everywhere else almost always is (I’m not picky, I expect when I order things to be slightly jacked up), but these weren’t. They poked holes in the lid so the onion rings wouldn’t steam themselves into a soggy mess which I appreciate so much. To me, just shows the place cares and I think you should give them a shot, great food and great service.
Don’t really care about the price, you get what you pay for here. I’m going to make this a go-to lunch place for myself. This place is kind of a gem up here. I didn’t think to take any pictures, the food was too good.
It was really good. The quality of the meat, bread and the overall food is excellent. I had the diablo cheese steak and it was one of the better cheese steaks – and it’s creative. The portions are more than you’d expect. Absolutely worth the price.
It was great to see how many in our community came out. Also their trailer is a mini-kitchen. Definitely 5 stars.
