CRAVE BBQ is where slow smoke, bold flavor, and genuine hospitality collide. From the moment you arrive, the aroma of wood-smoked meats sets the tone for an experience rooted in patience, craft, and comfort. Brisket is tender with a deep smoky bark, ribs pull clean from the bone, and pulled pork is rich, juicy, and unapologetically satisfying. House-made sauces range from sweet and tangy to fiery and fearless, each designed to elevate—not hide—the meat. Sides like creamy mac and cheese, seasoned collards, and golden cornbread hold their own with confidence. More than a restaurant, CRAVE BBQ is a neighborhood gathering place—welcoming, unpretentious, and driven by a love for real barbecue done right.

I am a self proclaimed wing expert, and my wife is a self proclaimed hamburger expert, so guess what we ordered?
These were some of the meatiest wings I have ever eaten, the sauce was spot on with plenty leftover for me to dip my caterpillar french fries in. Don’t put a google on “caterpillar french fries”.
My wife demolished her hamburger, which is odd because she usually takes half of it back home in a doggy bag, even though we were already at home eating. So in other words, she did not share any of it with the dogs.
I was able to enjoy a cold beer while our order was being prepared and after the 5 mile drive home everything was as tasty as it could be.
Stephanie took such good care of us.
They have a good beer and wine selection.
Our group had chicken tenders, grouper bites, and a grouper sandwich. So good!
As a resident in search of a great breakfast spot close to home, Crave at Rock Springs is the perfect choice. I was surprised to find the prices so affordable, which was a definite bonus! My favorite dish was their mouth-watering bagels filled with crispy bacon, eggs, and oozy cheese. The taste was unbeatable, and it has become my go-to dish at Crave!
The cherry on top is that they have more amazing projects lined up in their Apopka location. I can’t wait to check out their lunch menu and all the future delicacies they have in store. Needless to say, my taste buds are thrilled, and I am already planning my next visit. Thank you, Crave at Rock Springs, for a fantastic meal!
Even though I believed the menu said meatBALL sub and I assumed I ordered that, looking over pictures of the menu I realize even though I asked for a meatball sub that it actually says meatloaf sub. Everything else I’ve said stands and I don’t appreciate how defensive the owner is to my honest review (keep in mind my review was not all negative). I still stand by the rest of my review that the food is overpriced for the area and was underseasoned and that the atmosphere and decor lacked, but did want to correct my apparent inability to read the menu.
Previous review: I’ll start off by saying the staff was really nice. The food? Overpriced. $18 for a burger? No thanks. It isn’t some gourmet creation that they are hand-making there. The burger was also very undercooked which thankfully they fixed. I had ordered the meatball sub expecting a sub with meatballs. What I got tasted like someone had smushed some of their meatloaf into the bun (akin to a sloppy Joe). It did not taste good (it was actually pretty blandly seasoned). I kept thinking the whole time how much I actually just wanted meatballs on my meatball sub. I also like trying the Mac n cheese everywhere I go. I ordered a side. It was also very underseasoned and bland. It is not a baked Mac n cheese. I would not recommend either of the meals I had. For an appetizer we got pretzel bites and those were actually good, but again very overpriced. The cheese dip it came with also was too running to stay on the pretzels.
In summary, it was not memorable and everything there is so expensive that I’m guessing it’s more of a tourist trap for people going to Kelly Park/ Rock Springs than it would be for locals to frequent beyond one time. It was suggested to us to go there, and I unfortunately cannot extend that suggestion to anyone reading this. If every item was about 2/3 the price and better seasoned, then maybe. The place inside also needs to be upgraded and look a lot higher end if they want to server $20 burgers.
