An interesting spot for a meal with lovely harbour views. A bit of a trek from Edinburgh and probably very good for the area. Some worthy dishes, that were well presented. Overall a fair place to stop and have a meal.

I was lucky enough to have been given a voucher for the restaurant, without it, I’m not sure we would have gone. But, we are so glad we did. What a fabulous meal, every dish was delicious. From the Beetroot panacotta to the Chocolate tart with vanilla ice-cream and the Raspberry cheesecake with sorbet, via the cured sea trout, the twice baked cheese soufflé (wow!) the duck breast and the halibut. Everything was exquisite. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive and professional. Then to get a table by the window looking out over the harbour….

Very nice restaurant in the picturesque village of St Monans. Weather permitting you can sit outside, so you can bring your dog. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside. Excellent service. Food is great, a bit bigger portions would be nice. Advance booking is a must.

My mother’s favourite restaurant. As good as ever. Service cordial, unrushed and convivial. Food is just sublime, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour on every forkful. It’s a joy to come back to Scotland for. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely sensational evening. We opted for the wine pairing and this made the dining experience so much better.
Our table had an outstanding view and the food was absolutely delicious and so well presented and then having the paired wines with a description of the wine and how it would compliment our course was amazing.
Staff were polite, knowledgeable and friendly.

Food delicious. Service very pleasant. Restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but that could have been the time of year (January 2024) which affected the overall atmosphere. The music playing would stop for adverts – this really lessened the overall experience and should be reviewed. Duck dish, cheese soufflé and bramble parfait were a highlight. Would return if I was in the local area again.
