I ordered the fried oyster basket with sweet potatoe fries. The oysters were juicy and not too much breading. The service was a little slow and not the most attentive but overall decent. I would definitely come back for the food but not necessarily for the service experience.

We came here for my daughter’s 20th birthday, the atmosphere is amazing and the food was devine! I do have to say that our server, was the highlight of our dinner, she made us feel very welcome and treated us like family and even gave my daughter a hug for her birthday. If you ever decide to come here for a bite to eat DEFINITELY ask for Serenity, she is the absolute best and you wont regret it

Walked in on Saturday around 3:40pm. Many tables open. We waited to be greeted, finally sat down, but had to wait 5+ min for our drinks to come and then another 5 minutes for our order to be taken, which I had to flag the waiter, Jamal, down for. Otherwise, who knows how much longer I would’ve been waiting. I also had to remind Jamal to bring my soda. My husband ordered a cocktail, that NEVER CAME!
Our food is brought out, but it’s only a half pound of crab and shrimp, it’s suppose to be ONE pound of each. I have to track down the manager, explained food was wrong, explained the wait time, he asked me what I want to do. I obviously want my correct food! His response was unprofessional, just like their response to my google review. This place lacks adequate leadership.
It took them another 20 mins for my food to come out. I left at 4:25p, the manager only took off $20 off the bill. TURNS out he actually ADDED an extra seafood boil, which was comped. I never asked for additional food, just an appeasement on my original bill for the inconvenience and waste of my time. AGAIN, I NEVER ASKED FOR EXTRA FOOD TO BE ADDED TO OUR BILL.
I am stunned at the lack of customer service from the manager and staff. Especially after the response from the owner. Notice how they don’t acknowledge anything else about the poor service. Just that Jamal is a decorated server. I can’t tell because he obviously can’t handle the few customers that were present at the time.
Save your money, go to an establishment where the owner actually cares about providing good customer service. Their response to my review just shows the level of ignorance and lack of customer service

I had such a great time at Crafty Crab! The seafood was absolutely delicious and came out fresh and hot, and the sauces really made the boil pop with flavor. The drinks came quickly, and our server was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you love seafood boils, definitely try this place — worth it!”

I recently ate at crafty crab in concord after a very long day of travel and cheer competition with my kiddos. We were very excited as seafood is sort of special occasion dining for our family, but our visit was very disappointing. We were there a few minutes after opening and seating was a little slow, service was even slower. Not a big deal, the atmosphere was very nice, very clean and our server was very friendly. Our food however was VERY underwhelming, we ordered 1/2 lb crab boil each so I wasnt expecting alot of seafood but we also only got one small potato each and small half corn… as you can see from the picture, the serving size was almost that of a child’s plate. We ate and went on our way but I certainly will not be back. The food we did have was delicious, great flavor but I would never have paid that kind of $$ for everyone to leave hungry had I known.

I really enjoyed eating here. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The portion size was filling, and everything tasted well-seasoned. The staff was friendly, and the place felt clean and comfortable. The prices were fair for the quality. I would definitely come back and recommend this spot to others.

If I could give no stars I would! I put in an online order last night and was told it would take about 20 minutes. When arriving they looked at me like I was stupid and when they did find my order they said it was never sent to the kitchen. Waited around another 20 minutes until it was done. I’ve had several seafood boils from different restaurants and this was absolutely disgusting and terrible! The shrimp was hard and no flavor at all, the boiled eggs were rotten (check picture and video). To top off this horrible experience so far, the store manager blows my phone up asking if I received my order, I confirmed I did and let him know that the food was terrible. He replied that he isn’t calling about that and wanted to know how I paid. My families stomachs have hurt all night. How is this place still in business with such poor food quality and even worse management. I would recommend to find another place for a seafood boil, do not eat here! This is just unacceptable!

Crafty Crab Concord offers a solid seafood boil experience. The boil itself was good, but I felt like the flavor could have been a bit more bold. On the upside, the hush puppies were delicious, and the oysters were incredibly fresh, which I really enjoyed.
The only downside was the overpowering smell in the restaurant, which was a bit much, but I stuck through it. Overall, it’s worth a visit, especially for the fresh seafood and sides!
