It was a quiet night. I went here with 2 friends. The $250 crab platter plus 2 pounds of king crab legs, was found wanting. The lobster was very over cooked. The meat stuck to the shell and I had to break the shell apart like I was eating crab meat. Crab meat at the multiple joint, tasted like fish. The service was minimally acceptable. But for a $50+ tip, I expected better service. Not doting, just better service. I probably won’t come to this location again.

Food was fantastic; great quality, temperature, flavor. I had the snow crab special, mild, with buttery garlic seasoning, and my husband had the king crab boil, mild, with the Cajun seasoning. Normally I don’t like to order snow crab since so many places have pathetic little legs, but Crafty Crab has excellent snow crab. Large, luscious meat, and even the knuckle meat was good enough quality to enjoy. King crab was exactly as king crab should be: plump, easy to crack out of the shell, and perfectly flavorful. My husband ended up ordering another pound of the king crab, and honestly, I 100% would have done the same had we been here for dinner instead of lunch. We will definitely be back!

Crafty Crab is a decent spot for a seafood boil, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The concept is great customizable boils with different seasoning options but the flavor was lacking. I expected bold, spicy Cajun seasoning, but the spice level was very mild, even when ordered “hot.”
The seafood was cooked well, but the presentation wasn’t appealing. Everything comes in a bag, which is normal for this style, but the overall look was a little unappetizing and messy without much visual appeal.
On the positive side, portions were fair for the price, and the service was friendly. The nautical décor is fun and casual, making it a decent spot for a laid-back meal.
If you’re okay with mild seasoning and don’t mind a basic presentation, Crafty Crab will satisfy your craving but if you want strong spice and an eye-catching dish, it might leave you wanting more.

We decided to give Crafty Crab a try and now immediately recommending it to everyone! We got one of the larger platters, it has a little bit of everything. If was amazingly delicious. Came out hot and we got the garlic butter sauce…so so good! Seafood as all cooked perfectly. Nothing was soggy, like you sometimes get in a boil. Service was excellent! Decor was really cute! Highly recommend!!! We will be eating here often!

I took my dad out for dinner and although the food was good the portions were most definitely off.
We ordered 1lb kind crab 1lb snow crab 1/2lb craw fish 1/2lb muscles added sausage eggs and corn.
I’ve been eating crab my entire life and I can eyeball the heck out of some crab legs. We only got two king crab legs, which if they were massive can easily be a lb. But they were tiny little legs and there were only two of them. I spent $70 on two legs that absolutely did not come out to a pound. Everything else was great. Well cooked and tasty. But definitely disappointed in their inability to give me what I paid for.

Flavors are there if you are in the mood for seafood boil. Portions were pretty good for what you’re paying. Service was very good and very attentive. Pretty quiet the night we were there. Would definitely visit again.

Very cute decorations, love the sea and fishing atmosphere. The service is fast and polite. The food was served very hot and fresh! Loved the unique choices like hush puppies and catfish. The hush puppies’ flavor was spot on, too! Delicious! If you like seafood, give this place a try.

The chicken tenders were extra battered, fried, and simple.
Drink, make sure to get water. Soft drinks are experienced and not unlimited refills.
Mostly, everything was clean: tables, plates, silverware, floors, and such. The wall of our booth was a bit dingy however.
