Came in for dinner on accident on a business trip and I am so glad I came in! The service was excellent! Kyle was outstanding!!! The food was amazing! Crawfish were HUGE!!!! Tons of snow crab and the green mussels and clams were great!!! Got the boom sauce medium and it was great!!!! Haven’t had a seafood boil in a very long time and this blew me away! Definitely have to come back and encourage anyone to try!

Went to the crafty crab we got there 10 minutes before six for their happy hour. It’s a must due to the fact that you get half price apps -1 dollar can’t beat it. The shrimp and onion rings were off the chain shrimp taste the drop like lobster calamari was a little tough, but it always is nice size portions. Then we went and got some crab boils. Portion size was large. You could share them, Dungeness crab queen, crab many options you could add to your boil you won’t be disappointed crab boils were cooked to perfection. They have many different flavors that you could add. We had the garlic butter that’s all you need and one last thing. The reason I gave it four stars on the atmosphere is they should have management or somebody checking that bathroom on the hour ladies bathroom was a disgrace. The server did a great job. Can’t remember his name.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this seafood boil place. I was served a moldy potato in my boil — something that should never happen anywhere, especially at a restaurant. It completely ruined my meal and honestly made me lose my appetite.
When I brought it to their attention, the “solution” was to take a single drink off my bill. Not the boil, not a portion of the meal — just a drink. That felt disrespectful and like they didn’t take the issue seriously at all.
For the prices they charge, food should be fresh and customers should be treated with basic respect. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food or decent customer service.

First time visit. Got there about 9pm for late dinner. Restaurant not crowded at all but we were still seated near other booths that had loud people. Some reviews said waitresses helped diners with cracking and cleaning the crab legs…ours didn’t even offer. One pound crab legs not very much meat in mine…maybe a forth to a half a cup total! The crab cracking tool was damaged and they ended up giving us a regular scissors to cut thru the shells!! Steamed clams were good though. The highlight was a DOZEN large raw oysters for $21. Other places around FL you get 6 for $24+!
Bartender that night was mixing drinks way too strong and off. I guess it was just an off night for me…or maybe them.

I came here for the first time last night, and honestly I’ve had much better seafood. The crab was overboiled and the sauce wasn’t good at all. The mango margarita I ordered was also disappointing and didn’t taste good. The server who took care of us was very sweet and provided great service, which I appreciated. However, based on the food and drinks, I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you don’t want it to affect your opinion of seafood.

I recently visited Crafty Crab in Boynton Beach for the first time to dine in, after previously only ordering through delivery. I came in with high expectations and was excited to finally experience the vibe of the restaurant in person. When I arrived, the host stand was empty because the hostess was also handling to-go orders, but she did a good job multitasking and seated me once she was able.
After being seated, I had time to observe the atmosphere. As someone who has been a restaurant manager for many years, I understand how important acknowledgment and genuine hospitality are. Unfortunately, I noticed several servers walk past me without a simple greeting or a quick “do you need anything?” Those small moments of acknowledgment truly go a long way in shaping a guest’s experience.
Because of this, I ultimately left without ordering any food or having the opportunity to experience what could have been a great dining experience. I’m sharing this not as a complaint, but as constructive feedback. I believe in the integrity of good restaurants and the impact of great service, and I know that once situations like this are brought to management’s attention, they can be easily corrected. I’d love to return and experience the warm, attentive service I know this establishment is capable of. Thank you for taking the time to listen, and I look forward to my next visit.

My first visit at Crafty Crab did not disappoint. The atmosphere and vibe is very laid-back. The music selections were just right for the moment.
As for the food, it was tasty and delicious. If you love crabs, you will most definitely love this place. And don’t get me started on how good the corn on the cob is here! My only complaint is that don’t have many options for fish lovers.
As for the service, it was top tier! Our server Klaviolaah was next level friendly and attentive. We definitely tipped her well.
All in all, Crafty Crab is worth a try if you enjoy seafood.
