We arrived at 1pm and ordered immediately because we needed a quick lunch. Food was not delivered to the table until 2pm!!! Some workers came in at 1:40pm and were served their appetizers before we got any food. Which was interesting because our meal came with appetizers also but were served on the tray with the main course. Server was friendly but the wait time on the food was insane.
When the food arrived, it was very bland. Which I can see other reviewers here have stated. I saw this place on TMJ4 and it looked great so that is how we became aware of it. But the food was not what I would consider tasty. The breading in the chicken sandwich is a bit thick. It actually broke away from the chicken and the breast beneath was significantly thinner. The fries and chips were extremely hard. And my kiddo would not eat the Mac and cheese. When I tried it, it was quite bitter and had no salt or seasoning to it.
The atmosphere was ok. Looks kinda like the set to Friends. Mix and match couches in the rear were random lamps was not a good look. Table top was also sticky when we sat down.
Overall I would give this visit a 1-2 and I do not think we’ll return. The appearance of food looks better than its actual tastes! Total check for lunch for 3 adults and a small child was ~$65.

Finally decided to try this place after passing by so many times? Thanks to a FB post I had a buy one get one free burger coupon. Ordered cheese curds as well . I had the crafty classic and the wife had the dirtiest swiss.. Before I start with the food, I was a little concerned with the place being so dead, but nonetheless, the curds came out first and those were very good ( Maybe leave in fryer a little longer as bottoms got soggy quickly ) but we’re very crisp and not overly salty like some curds can be. ( Ranch was amazing too BTW ) Next up came the burgers and I was so excited to see shoestring fries, but they could’ve executed them a little better, ( dropping them right as the burgers are being dressed especially if the kitchen isnt as busy ) would ensure a fresher and hotter taste. They were good still, the burger itself was excellent, very juicy and seasoned nicely, and the onions were a very nice touch .. the wife enjoyed her burger as well. Let’s start with the good, staff was very pleasant and nice.
Also please keep in mind this review is my own opinion.
Normally if we go somewhere and there is a breakfast burrito on the menu we will order it, Not here. Who puts corn in a breakfast burrito? Then no meat in a “Cali” breakfast burrito? I’m from Cali, I don’t think they serve breakfast burritos without meat lol. Also if you’re serving a “Cali breakfast burrito” you need to have some salsas to back up that claim. I didn’t try it but I wouldn’t expect much from it.
What we did order, their strawberry churro French toast, ummm NO! Owners I mean this in a nice way, please go get the churro French toast from Catrina’s Cafe MKE. World of difference! It was just regular French toast coated with cinnamon and sugar and bathed in strawberry topping.
The other two items, I’ll take partial blame. I do but wife doesn’t like runny yolks and the whites were still a little runny as well. We assumed the fried eggs would be cooked through.
The pork belly sandwich was just ok. Nothing special.
Biscuits and gravy, the gravy was good, biscuits were ok, needed more gravy to go the distance with those biscuits. Again, maybe if we asked for scrambled eggs it would have been better. Golden nest has a great biscuits and gravy bowl (Minus the onions.)! Also mimosa and sweet diner (sweet diners is actually a Benedict that if you get the eggs scrambled instead of poached it’s my favorite biscuits and gravy!)
Anyways, please take this review with a grain of salt as it is only my own humble opinion.

I’ve been wanting to try the Thursday cheap date night for awhile as I’ve delivered Uber Eats orders from here before, but never tried it myself until now. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. We waited 10 minutes at the front for someone to come greet and seat us after having made a reservation and another 20 minutes just to get our appetizer. The food was all mediocre and completely unseasoned. We even had to salt the chips and fries ourselves because they were bland. And the date was not that “cheap” either as the total with tax and an average tip came out to over $60 with just the date night price and one drink each. The waitress was very friendly at least. I would not eat here again.

Very welcoming atmosphere for a great first impression. Our food was great! I had the chicken wings and waffle fries, husband had a chicken sandwich, and son had the Ramen noodle soup dish. Everything was delicious! Our waitress Tara was also amazing! My son said it was the best service ever. She even gave him chop sticks and rubber banded them together to make it easier for him. Wow wow wow wow wow. These burgers and fries are one for the books! Me and job stumbled across this place wanting a good burger and we got just that. Paid around $36 for both our meals. I got the classic cow with fries, hubs got the true grit with sweet potato fries and it was . We ordered take out and the food was done quickly and served hot. They added this sweet white sauce on the side with the True Grit burger and it was one of a kind. Fries were well seasoned and tasty. If you’re looking for a burger spot I highly recommend this one!

I had the dill dip chicken sandwich. Good breading, nice sized sandwich. Chicken breasts are hard to keep juicy, they cooked mine perfectly. Sandwich was hot, cooked well and through, and nice and juicy. It came with nice thin crispy fries.
My wife had the maple ginger lettuce wraps. Very nice presentation, flavor, quality… This came with the potato chips… Great server, great experience.

This place right here is the perfect place for a perfect burger! We went and enjoyed some sandwiches fit for queens. We had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the smash burger with sweet potato fries and a marshmallow dipping sauce. They also have the best seasoned and crispy fries I’ve ever had. The waitress was super sweet, and the atmosphere was very chill. This is a very nice spot. FOR REAL!!!!!
