I went down to Raleigh for the weekend to visit a friend and ended up stopping by Crafty every night I was there. Kurt was incredibly welcoming and really knew his stuff when it came to the beers on tap, making great recommendations throughout the weekend. The atmosphere was fantastic, and they had an impressive selection of beers available for purchase from breweries all over the country. It quickly became my go-to spot while I was in town.

We popped into this place to check it out for the first time this past Saturday. We were in the area for an open house at a nearby business and wanted to grab a drink before going home. We found Crafty Beer Shop and noticed a large number of people outside enjoying a drink. We went inside and found a seat at the bar. The menu for the beer on draft is displayed on a TV which was very helpful. You have the option of enjoying a beverage inside or outside. If you do wish to hang out outside, they have plastic cups to enjoy the beer. Along with the draft beer, they also sell a variety of beverages. We ended up purchasing a few that my husband hadn’t seen before.
Overall, the vibe and experience were 5 stars. The guy behind the bar was very friendly and prompt with service. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and I really enjoy it. I mostly come here on weekdays in the evening time. Usually, it’s a just a few people here and that is one of the many things I enjoy about it. Additionally, I’m not a huge beer drinker and very selective about my likes – this bar doesn’t mind letting you sample different options until you find the perfect fit. Excellent selection of beers and friendly staff.

I went here on father’s day with my dad to buy him some beer as a gift. The employee at the bar was very nice and helpful, answering some questions my dad had and pointing him to the sections with his preferred types of beer. The atmosphere of the place was very chill and it was dimly lit, but not too dark.

Jaysen is amazing, he really puts on a show. He has an incredible voice! He can sing any song you can name! Opera, rock, showtunes, absolutely anything.

Great local place for good beers and good times. Nicely curated selection of drafts and bottle/can beers, in all styles, for indoor, outdoor and takeout. Great outdoor seating on the Lafayette Village quad. Sports on the TV’s for adults and cool games for kids and parents. BTW. I’ve met some real cool canines here as well, which is to say, they are real dog friendly
