The actual food is mediocre but not bad. The fried pickles were very salty. The Big Easy burger $19 was loaded with 1 smash patty, 1 hot sausage patty, creole fried shrimp, french fries, american cheese, sauteed onions, remoulade. A fun combo. Sounds like a lot but was a good size to finish.
The Brotherly Love $18 milkshake I would get again! Not soon because that was a lot but it was good. Filled with local vanilla ice cream, hershey’s chocolate, peanut chews, tasty cake cupcake & kandy kake, peanut butter, amish pretzel stick. Didn’t finish the cake but finished the milkshake.
I hear it’s really nicely decorated during Christmas. I would come back for the milkshake and to see

For what you pay at this saloon. You could pay less in an upscale restaurant. While I enjoyed the visit. I was surprised with my receipt.
The atmosphere is festive and fun, and the food and drinks were solid overall. That said, outside of the holiday season, it’s probably not a place I’d go out of my way to visit.
The drinks are pricey (around $20 for each of the Christmas cocktails), and while the food was good, it wasn’t anything standout for the price. Service was a bit slow, but the place was absolutely packed, so reservations are definitely needed.
Worth checking out during the holidays for the experience, but more of a seasonal stop than an everyday go-to.
It’s a bar in Center City Philadelphia. Space is limited. We were a party of 6 and cozy close, but fit fine enough. It’s a bar… Food Choices accordingly. The menu is simple. A nice array of options without too many picks to decide from. Portion size was fair. A little bit pricey, but what isn’t these days?! Food is tasty. The milkshakes are an absolute must! It did take quite a while to receive our food and it appeared that way with our surrounding tables. Again, no complaints. Just the reality.
Yet, if you’re there with friends or loved ones and you want something festive and fun… This is your place!! No regrets.
** We do not consume alcohol, but there is a really neat menu for specialty drinks as well**
Have fun!!
We ordered shortly after getting our drinks and one item was missing—we didn’t get it until we finished everything else. She got a cheesesteak, I got a smash burger.
She liked her cheesesteak, I thought it was dry. The smash burger fell apart the minute I picked it up, and it was a mess. Good flavors, but a PITA to eat. Fries (the item that took 10+ minutes to get) were standard, nothing special. The Boo-schetta (bruschetta) was definitely the best of what we got. No condiments on the table, or S&P.
Ambiance was great, the themed cocktails and themed food were really cute. It was cool to check out for their themed popup, and I would encourage you to do the same! Just tamper your expectations a little. Oh, and there’s an automatic 20% tip added to every bill, so be aware.
Definitely recommend a reservation, it was packed on a Wednesday night. We made ours 15 minutes before showing up. Whatever it says is available seating wise is likely wrong—we were sat at a booth and the reservation was for a high top. (Yay!)
