We specialize in booze infused gourmet donuts and boozy coffee’s. We also have classic/gourmet donuts, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters and muffins. We also offer New York bagels. All our bakery items (except the bagels) are made from scratch, by hand and fresh daily. We also offer coffee (regular, flavored and decaf), specialty espressos, frozen drinks, tea and gourmet hot chocolate. Please note that our closing hours are or until sold out so expect variation in hours. Best to call ahead to make sure we still have our yummy goodies.

If you are in Murphy, NC, definitely stop in. What an absolutely adorable cafe! It’s like walking into a Hallmark Channel movie. I waited for Chad Michael Murray to walk in. LoL. There is a variety of coffee options and homemade pastries. There are donuts, cakes, apple fritters, bagels and variety of other pastries. The service was personal which felt very small town and loved it. The atmosphere comfortable and warm! This was a great stop! We are in town for the rest of the weekend and will be back.

The donuts and coffee were great. They even handed out samples of donut dough bread. Delicious! The older woman handing out samples and gentleman making the coffee were very nice.
My only negative was the employee that took our order. (Younger gentlemen) He never smiled and was off-putting. We ate our donuts inside and I noticed he didn’t smile the entire time we were there. I know it seems like a small thing, but it does put a damper on the whole experience.

WOW! I do not recall EVER having doughnuts this fresh, soft, and unbelievably packed full of flavor. It is actually difficult to describe how different these fresh doughnuts are compared to doughnut chains. If you “like” Dunkin, Krispy Kreme or any other chain I can assure you that you will never think of doughnuts the same after eating at Crafted Dough. There is literally no comparison whatsoever. You should try this place, if for nothing else the experience. The quaint little store is at the end of Tennessee Street in downtown Murphy. There are tables, sofas and seats at the bar. The owners are consistently conversing with customers. They are friendly and know their “Craft” so arrive early or you will miss out on the wide variety of crafted dough they have to offer. I think they close when they sell out. I am not a morning person but the very thought of Crafted Dough got me out of bed pretty quickly this morning. I am SO glad I did today! Check out this pistachio cream filled, maple bacon, blueberry cobbler and sweet cream filled doughnuts. (Check their days/times of business before going.)

This place is ADORABLE! The donuts were delicious and the coffee was top notch. The vibe is so cozy and comfortable. The owners couldn’t be more friendly! Everything is hand made and absolutely delicious. If you’re in Murphy NC, do yourself a favor and stop in!

What a great little, not so small, little gem on Tennessee St in Murphy, NC. The coffee…. fantastic, the donuts…. ummm and the bagel,great. Loved the atmosphere, plenty of seating, and a nice sofa, chair conversation area. And there is outside counter seating to watch the world go by. The owners greeted and waited on us at the counter and walked around chatting with all seated who were sipping and munching. Price where what is to be expected.

At the recommendation of a friend, we visited Crafted Dough. The donut and pastry selection was extensive and the coffee options are endless. We chose an apple fritter and cinnamon roll to eat there. The crunchy apple fritter was substantial and excellent and the apple topping was delicious. It was easily held in hand. The cinnamon roll wasn’t oversized so I didn’t feel stuffed eating it. The cinnamon filling and cream topping weren’t overly sweet so I didn’t feel like I was eating a sugar bomb but it was a pleasant breakfast/coffee pastry. I had a dark chocolate raspberry mocha which tasted like a cream-filled chocolate… Yummy! The latte tasted of a good espresso and not like it was too milky. Again, delicious. All-in-all, Crafted Dough was very good and we look forward to their continued menu offerings.
