We were in the city to try food places specifically, with this being Tom Colicchio’s restaurant, us being huge Top Chef fans it was a easy choice.

The restaurant is very nice and semi casual. The drinks were great, service was great.

The food was where it didn’t live up to the expectations. Nothing stood out, nothing overly impressed you to say you’d come back for that meal. It did not feel like a $250+ dinner for 2. It felt like $100-$150.

Glad we tried it? Yes. Would we go back? No, too many other options in this price range to try.

Another excellent experience at the bar at Craft. They do it right from the moment you walk in – I had a lovely chat with their maitre d Anita before settling in at the bar. Fabricio took great care of me, and I overheard him charming both regulars and new guests as more folks trickled in.

The orange wine from Slovenia was delicious, and I love their rotating Cab Franc selection. It bears repeating, the amuse bouche is a lost art, and their seasonal butternut squash soup with chestnut foam was beautifully executed. Might start making a habit of ending my workdays at Craft!

Went for a friends birthday. Staff was nice enough but it felt like it took a while for them to actually take our order for the amount of staff running around doing things. Food was good but small portions for the price, it’s definitely the type of place you go for special occasions only and with your older family…I wouldn’t say it’s the hippest menu. My duck dish was solid, it didn’t come very warm though. Overall I’d maybe come back & it’s worth a try.

We dined at Craft tonight and from the moment we sat down until the moment we left, the experience was excellent. I would like to mention all of the staff we had the pleasure of meeting including Natalia, Tiana, and Bryce. Natalia was very knowledgeable about wine suggestions and the menu. Tiana personally made our cappuccino when we ordered it with dessert. Tiana went out of her way to make our dining experience special. Bryce gave us a parting gift on the way out, Craft muffins. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience and the best service we’ve had at a restaurant in New York. Thank you to Natalia, Tiana and Bryce!

I really enjoyed how authentic this place felt. Nothing seemed forced, and the environment felt natural and comfortable from the moment I arrived.

The staff added to that feeling by being genuinely kind and attentive throughout the visit.

When you’re traveling and streaming regularly, places like this make a difference.

We had a phenomenal experience here. Exceptional food and the service was out of this world. We were on a time crunch as we had a show to attend and we notified staff of this at arrival. They provided quick service and offered suggestions to meet our time limits. The food was wonderful with a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return

Craft was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, to when we left with banana bread muffins as a parting gift, every element was perfection. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special.

The service was top notch, and our waiter gave us some great recommendations. Pro tip: they offer half portions of most of their sides so you can try more things. This is especially great if you’re a solo diner or in a small group.

The food, wow, everything we ordered was extraordinary. Our particular favorites were the agnolotti, the short rib (must order) and the surprisingly excellent Carolina gold rice. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered 7 total dishes for the two of us; they did an excellent job of coursing it all out and we took home some leftovers as well.

Craft is a perfect choice for your next celebratory meal, or any occasion. The warm, inviting atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and fantastic food all make it a memorable dining experience.

Celebrating our cousin Kyle’s belated BIG 2-O Birthday at Top Chef’s head judge Tom Colicchio’s restaurant Craftsteak in NY! Great service & they’ve surprised our daughter & her Uncle Kyle a custom menu with a special message at the top for each of them. We ordered the 40 oz. Ribeye Dry-aged Steak because for Ribeye cut, 40 oz. is the only way to get it Ribeye here. It was definitely one of the best course on the menu! The Ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fat was very juicy & tasty! When we were leaving, the host gave each of us a muffin treat to take with us. Special little touches in a restaurant makes a difference for their guests! Good food, great company & nice staffs! The only thing I might add is that a few of the dishes were extremely salty (such as the Braised Beef Short Ribs, Sea Island Peas, the complimentary peas gazpacho with chive oil), which resulted in us drinking a lot of water throughout the dinner. But other than that, glad everyone enjoyed the special occasion! ️
