craft & gather
Craft & Gather in Spokane Valley — chef-driven dishes, steaks, burgers, salads, craft cocktails, and local craft beers.

Craft and Gather had a pleasant atmosphere, with a comfortable temperature and attentive service. The waiter was friendly and answered all our questions promptly. However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered a cheese burger that was severely burnt, with wilted lettuce and mediocre fries. The meal was a complete disappointment despite the other positive aspects. I wouldn’t recommend.

This place is so dang good. I have worked in restaurants all over, tried places all over. This place is so lovely for any time of day, the food spread is unmatched, variety and quality is #1 other than the servers who make you feel like y’all are life long pals. Highly recommend giving them a try, especially for dinner! Don’t miss the desserts or you will regret it….the only con, is i am always freezing in there.

Was recommended to go here by s neighbor. Service friendly and food comes out real quick. Not too bad. Quality could be better for the price. Side salad wasn’t appetizing and could have used the dead greens removed before serving to customers.

A fabulous place – whether you’re with a group, on a special date with your honey, or just enjoying some time by yourself, this is the place to be. Was.there for Valentine’s Day last week and was not disappointed … Crispy Pork Belly, Surf & Turf, Ribeye, followed by their specialty bread pudding – can you say Yummm!

his was an awesome place to come to after a really bad morning.
Had one of the pups with us so we needed to find a nice place that’s dog friendly and we stumbled upon this little gem.
The large patio has lots of space and giant umbrellas and a huge open yard area and a live band was starting to set up as we were getting ready to take off!!
The staff was fun and silly and enjoyed their job and working with each other which was a breath of fresh air.
The food was soooo good.
I really loved the burrata cheese spread. It was absolutely delightful!!
The chicken sandwich was good too, the oil it was cooked in may have been a little too hot. It it was pretty tasty!
But the best of all was the amazing apricot sour beer. I wish more places carried sours, they are so under rated!!

A Crafty Place to Gather!
Nestled on the outskirts of Spokane Valley is the local gathering place known as Craft and Gather. A pub, a craft beer sanctuary, a restaurant and a place for kids to eat make Craft and gather a great place for everyone to enjoy. On a recent visit to the Spokane Valley area, I had a chance to eat and drink here and I had an almost perfect experience. The place was almost full on a Sunday night with some people there to drink and there for dinner and drinks. On the TVs near the bar, you could watch hockey, football or baseball games. I was sat fairly quickly at a high top near the bar and my server came to my table within a few minutes. She helped me to choose some local craft beers to try and helped me select food for my dinner. I tried their version of Burrata which came with a healthy-sized portion of soft cheese, oil-drizzled tomatoes and big slices of locally sourced toasted bread. Next up was my main course a curried chicken breast made with tender and juicy chicken breasts with a mild curry flavour. A very nice and not too overpowering dish to enjoy with a couple of local selections. There was a timing issue with my food as my main course came to the table only minutes after the burrata was served. Other than that Craft and Gather is a great place to enjoy good beer and enjoy great food.

On Saturday, June 11, my wife and I visited Craft & Gather to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first time at the restaurant. We were seated promptly and got a table in the bar area. Justin was our server and he did a good job taking care of us. I ordered the bacon burger with tater tots and my wife ordered crab cakes with french fries. My burger was decent but nothing spectacular. For $17 I think I was expecting a just a little bit more. My wife really enjoyed her crab cakes. Kudos to the restaurant for serving a delicious BBQ sauce. However, the BBQ sauce won’t be enough for a return visit. It wasn’t a bad experience or terrible food, but there are other places in Spokane with better prices, more creative food, and a more inviting atmosphere.

I would give 4.25 if it let me. I came on off night where it was louder than usual according to one of the bartenders. it seemed a lil short-staffed in the dining area, if you wanted aenu to look at and were shy, you would end up leaving after 5 minutes of no one noticing you. I decided to just go to the bar to eat. i ordered the lamb burger western style(no onion or bacon tho). the bbq is more smoky than bourbon maple and paired with the lamb burger season….def has a seasoned slight kick. they don’t have the bison burger anymore. the fry aoili was yummy. I may be a lil picky with my Caesar salad but there was more iceberg esque pieces than romaine and the dressing had little flavor. I’ll get the burger again and skip the Caesar.

Dined in on Wednesday evening with my sister and brother in law who were visiting. Andrea was our server and bartender and she was absolutely amazing! Best service I’ve had in a long time. I got the caprese sandwich with pasta salad and they were so good! Finished with bread pudding and that was also delicious. Will definitely be back!

Some of the best food I’ve had in Spokane, hands down. Unique and well thought out flavor and ingredient combinations and everything was salted perfectly. Haven’t had food like that anywhere else in town. It was spectacular, I’m dying to go again already and take my friends!
