Always super friendly service! Excellent food most visits. One super-crowded evening, the fries were less than their usually stellar presentation but we chalked that up to the crowd and the oil temperature.

First time visiting Craft 96 Drought House. My husband is all about trying new beers. We ordered the fried spinach & artichoke sticks – I thought they were okay. Our entrees were the Chicken Janet with sauteed veggies served with a lemon butter sauce and Cod Fish and Chips. My fish plate was just barely warm and I didn’t want to send it back, but our top notch waitress KIMBRA mentioned the faux pas to the kitchen and another HOT plate of Fish n Chips was delivered to our table. I thought that was very nice of her even though I said she did not have to do it but they wanted to ensure that my food was up to my expectations. I appreciated that!

Fantastic food. Really disappointed with the service at the bar today. As I was leaving unbeknownst to me I hear him tell the other patrons at the bar they have happy hour beers. Obviously, the 2 young men bartenders were more interested in chatting with each other. I was going to try another sandwich, app and cocktail but after you have to flag down your bartender down 3 times, you just kind of rather go somewhere you get better service.. The food is fantastic and I’ve been there before when they had great service. That’s why I’m giving it a 4.

With so many places to get a burger & fries it is hard to stand on top.
I would say that Craft 96 is more of a place to enjoy micro brewery choices with the countless taps they have.
However, we showed up to eat before we set out for our evening.
We had Fried Green tomatoes for appetizers. The batter was good but the cut on the tomatoes were not so good.
For entrees we had Blackened Fish Tacos and Smoked Gouda + Mushroom Burger with Sweet Potato Fries.

Delicious food, amazing beer selection, and great service. Not overly crowded for the time we stopped by to eat. Just didn’t like the fact that we were sat in a booth that fits 4 and we grabbed a high chair to sit our toddler and were told we couldn’t have the high chair due to safety hazard at a busy time. Although it wasn’t super busy when we were there. If that was an issue, they should have given us a better seating area since they assigned you what table to go to. Other than that, everything else was amazing.

To be fair, I can’t rate the food or drinks as I did not get served. It was my first time here…and Saturday at 7 pm. Maybe I chose the wrong time but it was convenient to HEB where I needed to get groceries and thought the menu looked decent. I’m a foodie and love trying new places. As I walked past the patio, I notice kids. I was expecting more of an adult environment but I guess it’s family friendly. As I walked in, it was somewhat busy…half to 3/4 of tables taken but bar was almost wide open. Maybe 4 people and it’s a large bar. Was going to make sure I could eat there but the bartender said “hey” and left. I’m not a beer drinker but saw they had wine. Another bartender/server is also behind the bar complaining about being tired. I’m still waiting. Another couple walks in and sits next to me. Bartender returns. Seems he knows them…starts to get their order. By now, I’m thinking this was a bad idea. It’s very noisy. I’m not getting acknowledged and just wanted to jump in before grocery shopping. Food may be great…I don’t know. Definitely understaffed or appeared so. May go back some day during the week during a slow time as it is close to the house but for now, it will go inexperienced by me as it has for years. ☹️

Food is always cooked perfectly! The pork chop is always cooked just right. My son loves to add a fried egg to everything. The lemon chicken is fantastic. I’ve never had a bad dish at Craft 96. Better than a Michelin star restaurant I dined at a few weeks ago!

This place is now our official drink and eat get-away secret if we want to get away and spend some time on our own. First off, the service was top-notch. The little 5 Oz drinks. Love them. But I now know that I prefer the mango drink and when you get to the point where you need something to eat. I mean the food is incredibly delicious here, I couldn’t put down my sandwich. It may be because I was drinking. Bit still, very Delicious!! We will come back again! Highly recommended!!
