Nice place with great service and atmosphere. However, our corner of the restaurant was very dimly lit, so much so that we could barely see the menus or the food. Steak was underdone and I also felt the prices were a bit high

My friend and I stopped in for a drink since we were staying at a nearby B&B. I ordered the specialty cocktail—a chocolate martini—which was absolutely delicious! My friend got a French 75, which was new for the bartender, but we were happy to share the recipe and it turned out great.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was super cute—perfect for a relaxed nightcap. We didn’t try the food, so I can’t speak to that, but based on our experience, this spot is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

The food was very good and will definitely be back however we did wait for over 45 minutes to get our food. The waitress was very kind and attentive drinks were always full and arrived quickly. The biggest downside was how dim the whole restaurant seems to be it was hard to see the menu for some people in our group. They had good specials and the waitress was able to answer any questions we had. Overall if you are looking for a nice place to get a drink and chat with friends over a good meal go to Craft 120.

We had dinner at Craft 120 recently with friends as we were in the area for a few days. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all excellent and the prices were fair for the portion sizes and quality. If you’re looking for a casual dining experience in Newark, this place is perfect!

Flavorful, fun dishes. See are still talking about the Duck wings and beef short rib poutine. Nice view of the canal.

Expensive bland food.
Making salmon or piccata bland takes a special kind of skill. Start with a rich, buttery piece of salmon, bathe it in a sauce that is defined by its complex, bright and zesty, briny and pungent, salty and fresh flavors and serve a … bland and slightly floury concoction ??
Then charge $40 for it.

Our food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My husband and I split a Caesar Salad and a Spinach Artichoke Flat Bread Pizza and we were very satisfied. Our waitress, Michelle, was so helpful, so friendly, and so good to us. You won’t be sorry if you try this place out.

Wonderful staff, lovely atmosphere. Too cold for outside seating, but inside was very nice.

This is a unique restaurant for the town of Newark in a good way. When Craft 120 came to town we hesitated to go at first worrying it was a place that would try to be “trendy” just for the sake of it, it’s not. When you come in the door you see the antique bar, large windows over looking the canal, a well done and classy interior and the large deck. The atmosphere sets the tempo for the experience.
Wine beer and cocktails are available with a focus on craft beer and unique cocktails. Many options are sourced locally adding to the places authenticity. Our server was charming and the bar tender was polite and upbeat.
We sat ordered drinks a delicious craft brown ale and a raspberry Moscow mule both excellent. The menu is short but options include complex flavors and locally spourced compoents all food made on site. The maple pork chop was excellent as was the scallop linguine my fieance ordered from the specials. We polished off our meal with a selection from the desert list (made in house and changes daily ) and where not dissapointed. All items are served a la carte and prices are alittle higher compared to restaurants close by but quality, depth of flavor and the atmosphere all figure into the cost. I highly recommend swinging through for live music Thursday or to eat on the deck or a meal anytime.
