Crackin’ Crawfish – Let’s Get Crackin’ Crackin’ Crawfish is a Louisiana-style seafood gig based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Owner promise some of the freshest seafood in Charlotte, with Lobster, crab, clams, oysters, and crawfish kept alive until cooked and served. Much of the menu is a la carte. Begin by choosing from four categories of entrees. The main one is the specials: crawfish and seven other kinds of cooked shellfish, flavored with lemon pepper & garlic butter and seasoned, if you want, with various levels of spiciness from mild to super hot. Crawfish will be delivered to us fresh daily during live season. Other seafood such as shrimp, crab legs etc., will be fresh though not kept live. So many choices!

Today, March 1st, I ordered a Pick 2 meal around 8–9 PM. I was really excited to try this restaurant. When I arrived to pick up my order, the employee who took my order and prepared my food placed my change on the counter instead of handing it to me directly, which felt a bit unprofessional and immediately made me uncomfortable.
After getting home and eating for about 5–10 minutes, I noticed a hair in my food (as shown in the photo).
Earlier, I had also called because my shrimp was not prepared the way I requested. During that call, I was told that I ordered something different than what I asked for, so I chose to let it go and continue eating. Unfortunately, that’s when I discovered the hair.
It’s disappointing because the food itself tasted good, but the overall experience and sanitation issue completely ruined it for me. Because of this, I unfortunately will not be returning.

Sai was the most amazing waiter ever! He was so attentive, helpful, and patient. I was dining alone, so I was nervous about how the experience would go but Sai made sure everything went smoothly for me. All the staff were very helpful and checked on me often. I was there for the seafood boil, which was absolutely amazing. A great value for the amount of food I got. Sai let me sample different sauce combinations before picking so I got the perfect one. He also helped me select the best option for me off the menu. I ended up getting the Snow Crab Special with a mixed sauce that was garlic butter, old bay, Cajun, and the house special mixed together. I took a long time to eat, but no one rushed me or made me feel like I was taking too long. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Super good and delicious. The seasoning and butter was great. I had got the Cajun garlic butter. Great price and reasonable menu. The staff were super nice as well. Would be going back when I have seafood cravings.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered something too hot for me to handle, (most places say hot and they don’t mean it) I definitely underestimated the heat. Staff saw me struggled and provided so much care and empathy, gave me extra butter and even gave me cheesecake to help me with heat, everyone is so sweet, I will definitely be back, food was amazing!!! I had a terrible day and this definitely made my whole week, customer service means a lot to me since I also work in the field. THANK YOU STAFF

Food was incredible, the service was top notch! Our server saw that we were indecisive on their seasonings so he brought out samples of their sauces. Outstanding!!
