This is our 3rd Cracker Barrel we have been too … it’s always the same. Amazing food, great service and fun souvenir shop. This time we had to wait a really long time for our food, so that’s the only thing I’d complain about. But I don’t think it usually happens, so I still gladly give 5 points.

Cracker barrel is a chain, and some can be hit or miss. This location was a hit. Service was adequate and needs filled. The food was cooked perfectly. My stuffed pancakes were excellent. The outside was crispy while the the inside tender. Filling was not skimpy, there was plenty of it for every bite.

Great breakfast eggs were perfectly cooked. The chicken fried steak was crispy on the outside even through the gravy and the cheesy hash browns were delicious. It seems they have shrunken their portion size which is totally fine with they always seemed to serve too much in the past. Great travel breakfast. Not close off the freeway and a Little hard to find. But it was great?

Seated immediately but had to wait quite a while before getting to order. It wasn’t too crowded so am not sure what the holdup was. Also had to wait a very long time (about 25 minutes) before the food got to us. Our server’s explanation was that the cooks were trying to catch up. Not sure what that means considering it not being crowded. While we waited for our food, our server did bring corn muffins. They were good. I got the chicken and dumplings. It was absolutely bland with very few pieces of chicken. I don’t put salt on anything but made an exception here and it was still flavorless. I didn’t eat much of it, maybe half the serving. I wanted to get the peach cobbler for dessert but chose not to since I didn’t want to wait any longer to check out. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

After a long day on the road, my wife and I had dinner at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Restaurant and Store in Flagstaff AZ. The pricing is excellent, and the food is even better! Delicious!!! Our server Tiffany was friendly, and greeted us with a smile and was very attentive. A huge wood burning fireplace took the edge off a chilly winters evening. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

My experience was absolutely fantastic. My server, who went by ” Q” suggested that I try the fried chicken. It was some of the best chicken I have had in quite a while! So I would recommend that if you are in the area, it is a restaurant you need to visit.
