The food was tasty and I appreciated that the menu offered some unique choices you don’t find at every chain. I will say the turnip greens were a tad too salty for my taste, but honestly, that’s not bad for being served all the way out here in Arizona!
The table games are always a plus to keep everyone occupied while waiting, and the kids were thrilled with the milk flavoring straws—a really fun and unexpected surprise treat.
The store at the front had tons of fun candy, treats, souvenirs and clothes. Nice to shop around waiting for a table or paying. They have goodies for everyone’s budget, and offer small priced items and expensive ones.
Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a reliable dinner in Flagstaff
The server Kyler came to the table greeted us and started taking our order. He told us kitchen was closing soon so we must order everything at once, so we ordered food and dessert together. Half of the dishes from the menu were not available. We somehow managed to order 2 dishes of home style chicken with two sides each. When Kyler came with the food, he informed us that 2 of the sides were not available. He was kind enough to give us a complimentary soup. Then things continued to go bad. He forgot to give us knives, we had to wait for 5 mins to get knives. We had ordered a dessert Biscuit Beignet in the beginning but the server forgot to note it down and we were not able to get even that.
Overall experience was extremely disappointing and horrible. I would recommend not going to this place in the evening because the food is awful (I literally got stomach ache after eating it), service is bad and some people are rude
I first want to thank the staff who was working on Thanksgiving. We were traveling through the area and needed somewhere to eat dinner on the holiday. It seemed like the kitchen had run out of half of the, already limited, menu. On top of that when the food came out the edges of the Turkey were cold and the supposed Sweet Potato Casserole with pecans and brown sugar had neither in it. It was orange slop. Heard the kitchen runs out of food normally and this was not unique to Thanksgiving day. Cracker Barrel needs to either close this location or bring in totally new management before their brand is further hurt. I was told, in no uncertain terms, our family will never be eating at a Cracker Barrel again.
Matteo was our waiter, and he was very, polite. He greeted us right away, took our orders and made sure our needs were all taken care of in a timely manner.
I love going to Cracker barrel because of the shopping and food All in one place!
