Cracker Barrel always delivers. We had a delightful breakfast after a good nights sleep in the back parking lot. We joined a few other rv’ers doing the same. Inside we were greeted by the friendliest ever gift shop girl. Wish I would have got her name. We were served the usual good coffee by Hanna. Our favorite breakfast was brought out timely and with a smile. Hanna deserves another star

I was pleasantly surprised eating here. This is the good old fashioned diner from my childhood. The wait staff was excellent. The food was good. There was a manager trainee there who was wonderful. Congratulations to the restaurant that gets her in a few weeks. Ill happily go back again.

I love the store they have there. Country vibe. Always find something to buy.
Cute spot and great vibe, but the food didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Not terrible, just kind of bland. Hoping to give it another try in the future — maybe I just didn’t order the right thing.
Coffe taste like it was watered down.

Located just off the freeway in Layton .. this restaurant is definitely a favorite.

You have to walk thru the little store to get to the dining area. The store is filled with cute country themed clothes and decor .. along with candy and various tchotchkes. All over priced .. however if that’s your thing you will find something you like.

We were seated immediately and our server was by with menus and asking about drinks shortly thereafter.

Food was served hot and fresh. Portions were just right and a great value for the price. The taste was exceptional .. well above average. The meat has a great flavor. The eggs are fresh and cooked just right. The French Toast was sweet .. crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Orange juice is fresh as well .. full of flavor.

There aren’t many locations in Utah so if you happen to be near one go often. If not .. it’s worth the extra drive.

Update: we tried it again and the food took a very long time. The waitress was great and kept updating us about when it’d be ready. When it finally came, my French toast was burnt, eggs were not cooked as I’d asked (they were over-easy instead of over-hard), and ham slice was teeny and dry. Took off stars because of the kitchen. Added pic of burnt food.

The atmosphere is great, but service is SLOW. The stuff are really nice, but we’ve waited an hour before receiving our food, and they were not super busy. There was maybe six other groups seated. We also have not seen our waitress since we placed the our order.

It’s just not my style of food, but other family members really like it. It tends to attract adults and older crowds, but they do have kids menu if you decide to bring children.

The food seems like it is “home cookin”. The flavor and portions were perfect. The food was more tepid than *hot out the oven*, but I feel this was caused more to do with the service than the food itself. The hostess told my son it “wasn’t her job” and “idk, find your server” when he went up front by himself and asked her for an extra utensil. The hostess was literally doing nothing but playing on her phone leaning on the pulpit. This was at 730 pm on Sunday. Overall, go there. The food is good. The little store part has cool stuff with a cozy style. The place always seems peaceful even during family vacations…

Food is really good here! Breakfast lunch or dinner! Went here for breakfast and they shortened the menu due to the holiday season! Usually they have more options but due to quantity and popularity, the menu will stay this way until Thanksgiving is over. All in all great staff, clean building, and plenty of parking! While your waiting they have a whole shop to browse until you are seated. Party of 5 at almost 10am we were seated immediately no wait.

We decided to eat here at the last minute tonight. The service was great! It did take a while to get our food, and my steak was way overcooked. The corn Muffins were also pretty burnt. I let the waitress know the steak was overcooked, and they made me a new one that looked and tasted amazing!! (My pictures show the burnt Muffins and the perfect steak) I typically really enjoy the corn muffins, so that was disappointing, but overall I enjoyed my meal.

I do like they have breakfast options all day. Some of the food was good, some just ok. I got the breakfast plate. Eggs were good. Sausage had good flavor. hashbrown casserole had too many onions. I would go back for the pancakes though. Pancakes were delicious!

Had to try their peach lemonade but better off with normal it’s too watered down not much flavor. I love country fried steak but this was a big miss, there is NO flavor in the meat. I know the gravy is suppose to compensate for the no flavored meat but you could add a little herbs and seasoning salt to your meat at least. Probably the worst chicken fried steak I’ve had in yrs. I haven’t t been to a Cracker Barrel in two decades. Service was great and loved the little boutique there. The bacon was 5 stars it’s crispy and flakes so wonderfully.
