One of the only Cracker barrel restaurants that I have seen in Denver. They have the old logo which was cool… The new logo is stupid and who cares. They got us seated really fast for a Saturday. I ordered med rare steak and eggs over easy. Everything was cooked right and the biscuits were tasty. Hash brown casserole isn’t that good but overall I like this place. They serve up adult beverages so that’s a plus. I really wish they had chicken and waffles.

Always have a good experience here. And with the take home meals it makes dining here a bargain. My only complaint is they have never had the wines they list on the menu in stock. I would have a glass with a meal if that was an option.

Always a pleasure to have lunch here! If you’ve been here before you already know the food is fantastic. I hadn’t been to one since I lived in Florida fourteen years ago, and it’s exactly how I remembered it. Tasty food and phenomenal service with a dash of Southern country charm. I had the hash brown casserole shepherds pie, a delicious take on a classic dish I highly recommend. I also took home a serving of meatloaf with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots which made for a nice, hearty dinner even after being warmed up in the microwave. You’ll have fun looking through the storefront, filled with tons of gift ideas and other items. You will not regret a visit to the good ‘ole Cracker Barrel!

My husband and I have always enjoyed visiting Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere has traditionally been warm and welcoming, with that classic country charm that makes you feel right at home. The food was consistently delicious, fresh, and served hot. Breakfast has always been my favorite — you simply can’t beat their homestyle cooking and generous portions. The staff used to be efficient, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. We also loved browsing the country store before or after our meal — it’s part of the whole experience.
However, beginning around 2020, we noticed a significant decline in both food quality and service at the 120th Avenue location in Northglenn. We shared our concerns with management at the time, but unfortunately felt they were dismissed. Many of the long-time servers we had come to know were leaving, often mentioning they were being required to work short-staffed. There were occasions when menu items were unavailable because they were prioritized for takeout orders. The cleanliness of the restaurant also declined, and at times the bathrooms were not well maintained.
We later visited the newer location in Northfield and had an excellent experience — it was clean, the food was fresh, and the service was exceptional. Since we live in Broomfield, we decided to give the Northglenn location another try for convenience. We were pleasantly surprised! The quality and freshness of the food had noticeably improved, and our server, Betty Carol, was absolutely amazing. She never made us feel rushed, her timing was impeccable, and she made sure my husband’s tea and my coffee were never empty.
We also had the opportunity to meet the manager that evening and shared how pleased we were with our experience. She informed us that the restaurant now has a new general manager, and it truly shows. There has been a clear positive change.
While we understand that some of the recent remodel concepts across locations have received mixed reactions, this particular restaurant could benefit from significant renovations. The building is showing its age after many years at this location. Investing in updates would further enhance what now appears to be a renewed commitment to quality and service.
We are looking forward to visiting again soon and hope the positive momentum continues.

The food was very delicious and served timely! My server Adriana was very attentive and gave us many good recommendations. Once the food came out, it was nice and warm to eat. My egg was cooked just right too! Adriana was very sweet to me and my family. They don’t have many servers like that in this world anymore. Next time we come in, I hope she’s working and I will ask for her specifically! Please thank her for me and my family

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had a Cracker Barrel!! Stay away from this location. The service was terrible— from the beginning we were sat at a dirty table waiting 15 minutes in an uncrowned restaurant waiting for the server who was too busy taking to her friends to help us.. got orders wrong, never checked on drinks never brought the Apple butter we asked for

First time here, and it was the worst. We checked in at 1:16pm for 4 after standing in line for 10 minutes, and the host told us it would be a 30-minute wait time. They sat us at 2:40pm, not to mention our waitress was not in the mood. No greeting, just took the orders, and each time she brought something over, she didn’t say a word. It was busy but it looked like they were short staffed. We let the less than welcoming attitude go but the food was terrible. I ordered the DIY holiday hot chocolate while my sister had the regular one. She didn’t tell me they were out of the sprinkles, only when she brought the drinks to the table. She gave us one full hot chocolate and the other half full with a candy cane stick. After mixing in the whipped cream, one of the cups was barely full!!! The rest of the food was greasy and tasted of old oil. The only thing we enjoyed was browsing the gift shop for the first 20 minutes.

I had somewhere to be this morning and didn’t eat anything before I left, so I came for Breakfast and ordered The Breakfast Burger with Fries, Sausage Patties, and a cup of Hot Chocolate. That burger was the BOMB! With that sunny side up egg, hashbrown casserole on the sandwich was absolutely amazing. I will definitely come to place again and order the same thing if I wanted to. We stopped by to have dinner after our granddaughters Christmas program, we had 2 extreme customer service experiences. The woman when we walked in said “what time is it? We close at 9, so you know” We asked if we could eat dinner still as it was like 8:30 when we arrived. The host sat us very politely, our server was absolutely wonderful!! Her name was Betty Carol, she was soo happy to serve us, she was bubbly, and refilled our drinks, she was wonderful! She said how much she enjoyed serving us, that was so nice to experience. 2 totally opposite sides of the spectrum, the first employee was not happy to see us and let us know twice that they closed at 9….but Betty Carol made our experience so great, thank you! I hope your boss knows that you are an asset and should be recognized for your cheerful heart and excellent service.
