Our server was nice and the store was fun but that’s about it. Food arrived cold and wasn’t that good. We were sat at a table that hadn’t been wiped off, and there was food all over the floor. This picture only shows a quarter of the junk on the floor at our table.

This Cracker Barrel used to have delish breakfasts. I give the waitress 5 stars. The only thing that I got to eat that was pretty good were the biscuits. They must have been pulled out of the oven too early, because they weren’t browned. Didn’t like the coffee. The iced water tasted like it had dirt in it. The bacon they use is a poor excuse for bacon. Part of the bacon was undercooked, some of it I couldn’t chew and not crispy at all. The gravy needs more flavor and it taste like a cheap mix you add water to. I have had their scrambled eggs before and they didn’t taste good and they were overly moist. Their sausage is pathetic. There are better places to eat breakfast. Also, their meatloaf used to be delish, but the last 2 times it wasn’t.

Delicious food! We went on a Wednesday evening, it was a bit busy but they still accommodated us (we were 11 in total). I had the cheesecake pancakes absolutely delicious ! Kiddos had kids cheeseburgers. Meatloaf plate was very good and filling, the fried chicken dinner super yummy. Well too much to list but everyone was pleased with the food and service.

The fried chicken was just okay. It was very crispy but could have had more flavor. The macaroni and cheese was the best thing on the plate. It was creamy and very flavorful and not over cooked. The broccoli was also pretty good; not mushy but just the right crunch. I will skip on the peach cobbler next time because it tasted factory made. This order was a to-go order along with 2 others in my party. My daughter ordered the fried turkey online but when she went in to get her order the attendant told her they didn’t have it and just walked away. She did not offer any alternatives and I really wish I knew her name. Needless to say, my daughter just had to walk away without any further assistance. This was my very first visit.

This place is known for its comfort food and rightly so! Even though I grew up in a different culture so what I considered comfort food wasn’t on this menu, you just can’t help feeling like you are at someone’s grandma’s house getting the best meal she’s got to offer. They offer beer and wine now, so grandma is getting with the times.
