This store was packed. I wanted to give them 5 stars because the atmosphere was energetic. The server was awesome. My sponsor ordered the pancakes with eggs and sausage. I ordered the beignets with the sausage, sweet ham and bacon. The pancakes looked so good. The beignets we’re incredible. However, my last piece of ham had a blond hair in it. The hair was in my mouth. I thought that I would be ok, but now I can’t eat anything. The manager said that he’d pay for the meal. Yeah right, he paid for the ham. What about my stomach? I’m scared to eat. I keep feeling a hair in my mouth.

We were staying at the Best Western in Sulphur for the weekend and figured we’d give this place a shot because usually Cracker Barrel in Texas is amazing. First, after waiting 15 minutes to be seated, we attempted to order iced coffee and were told the latte machine was down, so then we ordered coffee with glasses of milk to make our own iced coffee. After waiting a few minutes, they bring us a cup of milk but no coffee, and tell us they’re out of coffee… yet we see other people being served coffee. We then changed our orders to orange juice and Diet Coke, wait a few more minutes, and then are told that they can serve us the coffee after all.

Another great Cracker Barrel. A regular stop on long road trips & visits back home. Consistently delicious food and friendly staff. This location is no exception. Our food & server were great. The buttermilk pancakes and biscuits were, once again, amazingly delicious. Highly recommend!

We had two more that were joining our party. Had one empty chair at our table and just needed one more chair for our party. They would not allow us to put one chair on the end of the table. He wanted us to all get up and redo our table preference for 5 instead of 3 and wait another 40m for a table. We had already placed our drink and food order! All for 1 chair! Ridiculous! Waitress was sweet, but the kid running around policing the tables was not accommodating to our party. My brother and his wife had to sit at a table by themselves. We noticed that all utensils and cups were styrofoam and plastic. What’s up with that? Had to drink coffee out of styrofoam . . .

Came for some fresh coffee and breakfast this morning. Upon arrival was seated right away, and a waitress was not too far behind. After ordering coffee she offered to bring out some fresh biscuits, and both were spot on. Was ready to place order, which she took, and before I finished the first cup of coffee my meal was ready. Had an excellent waitress today, I believe her name was Genevieve. She never let my coffee mug run low, and came to check on me multiple times. Some days at Cracker Barrel the service is a little slower, but the food always come out great. Very satisfied with this visit!

The service was absolutely horrendous! The worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to, hands down. Arrived at 6:30 on a slow Saturday evening, took 30 minutes to seat because they were short staffed. Ordered our food at 7:15pm. Had to wave down our waitress at 7:40 to ask for drink refills and a status on our food. Food arrived just after 8pm. Scrambled eggs were dry, old lettuce on burger, crispy bacon was flimsy, over medium eggs were over easy, grits were hard, and biscuits were flat. Had to ask our server for refills again. She was rude the entire time she served us and it was obvious she didn’t want to be there. We will never return to this restaurant because of how poor the service was. Save your time and go next door to Waffle House.
