The manager with Dylan was super nice very Interactive considering it was so busy an interesting enough he acted that way throughout the entire time I’ve been here as I watched him see other people with that same very positive interaction! Our waitress Ava was amazing she checked on us she refilled our tea without us having to flag her down which was super awesome! She had a great personality never seen bothered or like we were asking too much and everything came out hot and fresh!! It did take a little while for a food but it was Memorial day and there are a zillion people here! 5 out of five experience

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Cracker Barrel in Omaha, Nebraska. I had the pleasure of dining here for the first time 5 years ago, and it was truly an incredible experience. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Fast forward to 2025, and I’m shocked at the drastic decline in quality.

The service was abysmal – our server seemed completely uninterested in attending to our needs, and it took ages to get our orders taken and food delivered. And speaking of food, it was nothing short of disastrous. The dishes we ordered were overcooked, underseasoned, and just plain unappetizing.

I’ve been to many Cracker Barrel locations in the past, and I’ve always been impressed with their consistency and quality. But this visit was a major letdown. I’m sad to say that I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon. I hope that the management takes customer feedback seriously and makes some much-needed changes to get things back on track. Until then, I’ll be taking my business (and my appetite) elsewhere.

This has been a childhood favorite restaurant that i have enjoyed for Years, and different Cracker Barrel locations around the midwest. Many great memories, as well enjoying a warm fire in the cold winter months. And viewing the antiques upon the walls, of History from generations that have come and gone. My server Chris’t, he was very good, always ready to serve and help. I have never had a bad server here, ever!
American comfort food, is what ya want? Then come here…you won’t disappointed. Yum!

I had the fried chicken. It came with steak fries, 2 biscuits, and the salad was an upgrade to the 2 side option for an up charge of $2.49. The meal was served unusually fast like Mickie D’s fast. The salad was the only part of this meal that seemed to have been made in advance, the bacon bits were clumped together, food was hot, and appeared to be fresh. The chicken was not very meaty but was still filling. You get 4 pcs. Service was mediocre, I had to let the ice melt for some moisture for God’s sake! For the price, it’s not too bad, but there is definitely room to improve. The gift shop is pretty cool. I fell into that trap as well, got myself a travel mug for $30. It was a fair price from what I have experienced around the country and any of you older folks, did you know they chunky and big hunk candy bars? Haven’t seen since I was young and had a full head of teeth

Awkwardly long wait as our server was overly taking care of a table that was singing his praises while the rest of us peasants waited anxiously for his grace to bless us with taking our order. He was nice and cordial with us when we finally got service.

Food was tasty and hot, just like your mom. Had grandpas breakfast. The chicken fried steak wasn’t amazing but it was ok. Biscuits and gravy were decent and so was the eggs and hash browns.

Decent experience.

Another great experience with this location: great tasting food and excellent service. My food was just like I ordered it and tasted great. The biscuits were hot and fresh which is my favorite part of my meal each time. I went with the strawberry mimosa this time, and it was refreshing. Our server was in training, but both ladies assisting us were super friendly and checked on us in a timely manner each time.

Waitress was wonderful. There wasn’t much of a wait. The food was good. I’m a big fan of the pancakes and the potato casserole. The meats were a bit salty and overcooked. My husband enjoyed the potato casserole as well and added chicken sausage to his.

Been to a few Cracker Barrel restaurants and expected so much more. We were hungry and relieved to see the parking lot was not full. It was 10am on Memorial Day Monday. Lots of open spots. There was a host checking people in within five feet of the front door. She asked if there was three of us and we confirmed. She let us know the wait was 15 minutes. We agreed to look around the gift shop. About 15 minutes later our party was called along with four other names. We then stood waiting at the restaurant entrance for another ten minutes or so while other parties were seated. There was only one person seating guests and it seemed like they should have waited to call us because they weren’t ready. When he finally seated us, he led us to our table that had 1 menu sitting on it. When I sat in my chair it was broken, I almost fell to the floor and my husband grabbed me another. That’s when we started to look around and see the condition of the restaurant. I understand restaurants get messy but this place was filthy. The cracks along the table were filled with gunk and what looked to be months of buildup. The floors were covered in grime like they hadn’t been mopped properly in a long time. The lamp on the table was covered in food debris and grime. Even the table had a buildup of residue.

That’s when we looked up and saw it, a woman sitting at a motorized scooter at a table nearby with her dog on the armrest. Not a service dog, a little dog she was feeding at the table. Our waitress came by within a minute of us being seated and asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered and she asked us what we wanted to eat. I politely asked for menus. She seemed embarrassed and grabbed them for us. I still couldn’t take my eye off the lady feeding her dog in the restaurant. See the picture.

The food, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs and a country-fried steak took 45 minutes to come out. While most of the food was warm, the gravy had cracks from sitting so long. The eggs, ordered over medium were barely cooked. The bacon, burned. The food was bland, the grits were watery and had no flavor. The waitress was busy and never asked us about refills or if we needed anything until we sat for a while just wanting to leave. Finally she came over to offer a refill but my husband just asked for our bill.

Even if the food had been perfect, I would worry about ever eating at this location. If the restaurant is this dirty, I worry about the condition of the kitchen. Not to mention, dogs eating at tables.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Usually when I come I get the grandma’s breakfast sampler because it has everything you could ever want for breakfast. This last time however, I decided to mix it up. I decided to try out the chicken and dumplings for the first time, and holy moly boy was good! The service was incredible, my server Noel was on top of everything and got me whatever I needed with a smile. All in all this is a fantastic place to eat at anytime of the day, their menu includes something for all tastes no matter what time of the day it is.
