My entire experience was fantastic. I had my birthday dinner today. The food was delicious- I had the Sampler dinner with Chicken & Dumplings and Meatloaf. The sides were fried apples and mac ‘n’ cheese. It’s hard to find a good glass of sweet tea in Kansas. My waitress was Aarene, she was marvelous, she made my birthday joyful. I got a free chocolate cake with ice cream that I had to take to go because of how full I was. The lovely hostess (I unfortunately didn’t get her name) was very kind, warm and welcoming. The gift shop was cute and the bathrooms were clean and stocked. I left the restaurant with a beaming smile on my face! Thank you for the phenomenal service!

Haven’t been there in 30 years. Tried it this am. Food disappointing for breakfast. Biscuits had too much flour and were not light and fluffy. Gravy not great either. The chicken fried chicken didn’t seem fresh, was dry, and was disappointing. They don’t have flavored creamer for coffee either. Too much to ask I guess Service was good and restaurant clean but the food is not worth it when other good breakfast restaurants nearby. Will probablywait another 30 years before returning.

Probably the very best breakfast I have had in a very long time. The dish pictured is Momma’s French toast with warm peaches and ” an unreasonable amount of whipped cream”. At least that was how I ordered it. You can order it however you like! But it was amazing! Everyone loved their breakfast and I tried the strawberry lemonade which I also thought was fabulous. Probably the best Cracker Barrel I’ve eaten at. Service was friendly and attentive even though they were completely slammed on this Labor Day weekend. Good job everybody.

Our waitress Alysa was awesome! I can appreciate someone going out of their way and bringing drinks before you have to ask. The store and restaurant seemed very clean, the food was just a little bland. Everyone was friendly. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were a little dry to my liking. For two of us to eat there with drinks was $28.00. This place had great pricing and a home style vibe.

I was told the chicken fried steak was okay and the fried okra tasted like it was previously frozen. I really liked my meatloaf. It was very moist. The coleslaw was creamy and one of the best I have had. The hashbrown casserole was better than it looked. I loved looking through the store…the old fashion candy and all the odd merchandise.

I’ve really come to liking Cracker Barrel. It brings back memories of the olden days. The food is actually pretty delicious and I’ve enjoyed browsing through the gift shop. There really is a lot to choose from. Things raging from gifts to local memorabilia. I also loved the Christmas selections. This is also where I could find a Kansas State cup that I desperately wanted. The waitstaff is also VERY attentive and we were seated quickly.

As always enjoyed our food. I tried something new and enjoyed my bacon casserole. Then we all opted for the $5 take home meal in addition to our meal. Enjoyed the meatloaf and Mac’n cheese my take home meal.

Food & service were really good! But the 1/2 hour waiting in line just to pay for the meal was a lot! Especially on a lunch break. Very crowded, rude angry people, etc. It’s enough to not want to come back!
