We ordered takeout from Cracker Barrel for dinner this evening. It left a lot to be desired. While the sides were aplenty and good overall, the main dishes were lacking. The chicken and dumplings were too thick and clumpy – with very little broth or chicken. Meanwhile, the boneless pork chops were much thinner than they have been in past orders – and at least one was very tough. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that won’t be bringing us back anytime soon!

Our food was absolutely amazing & there was so much of it for the small price we paid. We went on Sunday & got their fried chicken dinner. I had the Nashville hot & my friend got the honey butter. Fantastic!!!! Our server Rayna was the sweetest thing. She took great care of us, making our experience very enjoyable. I failed to take pics of the food cause it was so good all I wanted to do was eat, lol. I did however grab a pic of one of our onion petals that appeared to be shaped like a fish. Rayna said the chef hand crafted it just for us, lol. It brought us joy & laughter. Thanks Rayna & thanks to all the Cracker Barrel team, especially those who were working the kitchen that night. Good food & good service is hard to find these days. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

First time at a cracker barrel. I had the sampler. Meatloaf, fried chicken, some kind of turkey mush pie, mashed potatoes w white gravy, coleslaw, and cornbread muffins. Meatloaf was very tasty. Fried chicken was crispy and moist. The turkey pie i was not a fan of it tasted good but I don’t like wushy crust. Potatoes and gravy spot on. Coleslaw crisp with great taste. All in all it was great. A lot of food for the price. Nice staff and i got my food very fast. Hard chairs bring a pillow.

This was the best overall experience at a Cracker Barrel in many years. Our service was outstanding.No wait for a table. We loved our waitress, very friendly, happy, bubbly personality. I asked about a substitution on Grandma’s Sampler, I had all bacon instead of the sausage and ham. Chose the french toast instead of pancakes. Did not wait long on our food. It came out hot and everything was cooked perfectly. Price was reasonable. Not one complaint on the visit. Love their country store area.

Still traveling home, and after a less than desirable breakfast at our hotel, we stopped here for a break and a hot meal. Once again we were seated near the fire place,. And it felt wonderful.
Our server was the sweetest young lady. The blueberry pancake meal was perfect, although a bit too much. I did my best to eat it all, but the hubby had no problem and devoured every tasty morsel.
I managed to pick up a couple of gifts before leaving.

The experience was horrible. Had to ask for water. Ordered a Diet Coke. Got wrong drink and then waited forever to bring correct drink. No napkins, no butter with biscuits. A sandwich was ordered and wrong sandwich was brought. Had to wait along time for our food and then it was cold when we received. My oder was missing items I ordered and correct items were never brought. The sandwich was re ordered and waited so long we had to get to go. The waitress started crying and we never seen her again. The manager came to our table and never corrected anything. Another waitress finally brought our check. All round horrible experience.

When we arrived, there were many empty tables, but instead of seating us where we had room they put us in between 2 other full tables where we did not have even hardly room to get into our seats. The waiter was exceptional, he was the thing that made it bearable. The pancakes were so tough they could hardly be cut with the knife. The rest of his plate of food was only bearly warm. The biscuits were so dry you had to take a drink after every bite. I was very disappointed, they usually are a great place to eat. We also waited for about 30 minutes for our food to arrive for it to be not good.

Came here Thursday afternoon for a date. When we got there we were seated in a section where we could barely move because it was packed with people. It was awkward and a bit annoying that there were people seated on the other side almost alone. But oh well. The serve was very sweet but unfortunately the food came out cold and I found the pancakes to be some of the worst I’ve had. I’ve made better at home. Not sure if it was just who was making them but they were chewy almost. Not something I would recommend getting. We did get the new maple beneas those are so good. Probably only will get dessert here lol. The store is super fun too so many cool items here I will post pictures of a few. So cheap too these are only a few of the things we ended up getting. I will give eating here another chance in the future because the service is very good just seemed like they were very busy

We took my 3 year old granddaughter for her birthday about 11am at the Cracker Barrel in Marion, Illinois 2/2/26. She was treated like a princess, got the royal treatment by the waitress and was sang a happy birthday solo. We had a really nice time. Thank you. She had Mac n cheese, of course and complimentary cake and ice cream. Very nice and very special.

This was a delivery meal. The meal was here timely. All ordered items were present. The green beans, corn and ocra were good. The mashed potatoes seemed old and not fresh. The roast/gravy also seemed old, over warmed but edible.
